Florida FROG Rally

Is there going to be a FROG rally in Florida in September? Did I miss any announcement? Nothing is listed on the FROG web site either.

There is going to be one in Williston the last week of September. The announcement should come around April.

That may be to close to the BamaGanza rally for me to make it to FL. 3rd week would be better.

adding to this ...waiting on date too. Would love to FL FROG but heck, we are booked monthly until Feb 2018 already & are holding Sept 2017 open as we had a great time. Hoping to leave Sept 16 open for a charity event I have helped with in the past instead of FROG....

I just spoke with Sheryl and confirmed the dates are Sept. 28th with check out Sunday morning Oct. 1st. That will still give me time to get home to pack and make the 2 day trek to Bamaganza arriving a day before it officially starts.

I guess we won't make it to the Florida FROG rally this year. We check in for Bamaganza on Oct 2. Maybe next year.

These dates might fit our travel schedule. What campground please? Are there any other details at this time? Who is the Rally organizer? Thanks.

The rally is held at Williston Crossing. Here is a link to the campground if you would like to check it out. Williston Crossings is North Central Florida's Premier RV Park

Sheryl and her husband are the organizers. She is on here as camping gator if you would like to contact her. There will be a catered dinner provided by Forest River and most likely a band. At least one pot luck dinner.

Last year we had a meet and greet where you bring in craft beer or a soft drink to share along with cheeses. The past two years there has been a field trip for those who want to attend (Elephant rehab and a horse farm)

Most likely Tri-Am RV out of Ocala will be there with units on display, a seminar and last year a free roof inspection for those who desired one. There are door prizes as well.

Registration should start sometime in May as the park is extremely busy this time of year with all the snow birds. Last year I think we had close to 40 units.

Hope to see you there. Please take note there is also a rally at Noccalula Falls in Gadsden Alabama Oct. 4th thru 8th and registration is open now but filling up quickly.
