FROG??

what is FROG the acronym for? I assume F is for Forest and the R is for River. I'll be darned if I can come up with anything for OG.

We have theme nights at Goshen and Have Fun and get free stuff done to our RV's and Trailers too! There is exclusive club that spells things like Phrog or Phat Phrog replacing F with PH. Membership exterance exams are known and no one really knows how you become a Phat Phrog Stunt Team member.

Whallon1, FROG is an acronym for Forest River Owners' Group. We're an organization for owners of any Forest River RV, regardless of brand. The club is actually a part of Forest River. There are no dues or membership fees, you just have to own a Forest River RV. To date we have over 34,000 member families.

Throughout the year, we organize and host trips and tours throughout North America, as well as sponsoring and subsidizing even more events. You can get an idea of some of the upcoming events by going to our website, www.forestriverfrog.com, and clicking on the "Events and Calendar" link. You can join FROG online as well, by going to the website and clicking the "Join Us" link.

The Forest River Forums are actually not a part of FROG, and are neither owned nor controlled by Forest River. They're a great source of information, as well as including the requisite forum nonsense, and a lot of us who work for Forest River participate in the forums and try to help where we can.

And F.R.O.G. Bob is one of the outstanding individuals PLUS his wife Cindy that make all the events a huge success. All FROGS are indebted to Bob & Cindy for their dedication.

Yes, Youroo that is correct. Iggy organized the first FROG rally held in May 2011 and we all had a good time. Iggy tried hard to get corporate sponsorship and was successful: Forest River sent some hats, RVW supplied some T-Shirts and Bob Fields personally represented Concertone. Forest River didn't come up with the FROG acronym or the rally idea. Both of those came from members on this forum. After the original rally Forest River jumped on board and started the FROG website and began organizing the rally's that hundreds of folks attend each year.

I'm proud to say my wife and I were part of that very first International FROG rally back in 2011 at the ABC Campground in Branson. It really was an international rally with Old Guys and budlemon from Canada and Nigel from Portugal.

Here are a couple of pics.

We look like a commercial for RVW wholesalers in the first photo.

In the photo below that would be Iggy in the FROG hat at the far right.

Not to short change Forest River Inc. because they picked up the ball and ran with it after that first INTERNATIONAL rally. The smartest move FR made was hiring Bob and Cindy to head up the FROG organization. They go a great job.

Ye must bow before Chief Frog Wrangler and be knighted at your first rally.

Thanks for the memories Bob. I forgot about the RVW hats. Still have all the gifts from that rally.

It's hard to believe that the little group in the pictures has grown into the size and numbers that have attended the past 4 rallies. There were 4 of us and wives that were the beginning of the FROG Rallies. If you reading this owns Forest River RV and have never attended a FROG Rally, you really need to check it out and try yo attend the 5th Frog Rally in Goshen IN next Aug.
