All FROGs are welcome in Branson and none will be shunned or ignored. Long before Forest Jump came to our family we had frogs.
In the photo are Freddy Frog and Phylis Frog.

The DW and I were in Branson last week for a couple of days....we stayed out at Silver Dollar City's campground called Wilderness Campground....we did take time to go out to ABC campground for a look around and short visit with personnel in the office....they said they thought we numbered about 25 at that time.....we were out in that area of ABC to see the Oak Ridge Boys whose theatre is just a short distance from ABC....looking forward to getting back up there on the 27th.....always looking for a reason to go to Branson.

We'll be pulling in there sometime on Saturday. I hope the rally goes well. We will make it sometime...just not this time. Planning a trip to SDC on Sunday because apparently the one week we picked to stop into town...they're closed. That and they are expecting rain all week. Kinda of reminds me of a movie...except aunt Edna isn't with us this time.

You will find that all frogs are welcome in our group. Be sure to bring him to the rallies to meet all the other Frogs.

I had a great time last week in Branson. I think I caught a tree pollen cold (if there is such a thing). No rain at all (even though the forecast said to expect rain everyday). Spent all my vacation fund. Road two of the three roller coasters at SDC. To that I will add that I still enjoy Fire in the Hole a lot more. I hope you guys get great weather and the tree pollen goes away.

It sounds like you had a great time Toby. I love roller coasters but my old body can no longer take those "G" forces.
Tree pollen is very high and always a problem this time of year for those with allergies. If a car is parked in an area with a lot of trees (like the Ozarks) it will look like it’s covered with green dust every morning.
Claritin-D and Allegra-D are good for combating the effects of pollen on allergy sufferers.

I did have a pretty nice time. I think I liked SIX the most. They did a good job. The roller coasters are way too rough and way too fast to enjoy them. On one of them I wondered what the deal was about lifting each car sideways up to the track. Did the engineers mess up on the track design? Anyway, after riding it, I figured it out. It was so fast that it gives them time to load the other car. You still have to wait but not as long. They clamp you down so tight in those cars it's not even comfortable.
My truck was coated with that pollen. Thank God it rained on the drive home. I got it all cleaned off for free. I have never been one to have allergy problems until just recently. That's the odd part of this. I think the AC on the camper actually pumped it into the camper at night. That's my story.

BRANSON.....FROG at 4 UPDATE
Hi folks,
Got an updated list from ABC Campground in Branson today and I have added a couple folks who have asked about our agenda for the rally.
First let me thank everyone.....all 32 rigs worth.....for helping this a great Branson Rally. There are still spaces available for anyone else who might decide that this would be a fun trip. We do not run a very tight ship and like to leave a lot of free time for folks to do their own thing.....be it show going, sight seeing, shopping...or whatever.
We will have rally registration at our trailer, so after you get set up...come see us at the FROG banner and we will get you fixed up with name tags. We will be arriving on Tuesday...as will a few other folks. Feel free to join us early if you like.
Wednesday evening we will do a potluck in the meeting room and a MEET AND GREET.
Thursday evening Nancy and I will be going to Shorty Smalls Bar B Que Rest. for supper and then to the 8:00 show at HUGHES BROTHERS SHOW. We have gotten a group rate of $30.00 each. Call 1-800-422-0076 and let them know that you are with the FROG GROUP. This is an optional evening but it is a great place to eat bar b que or fish, and a great family style show.
Friday will be another potluck and a show provided by the good folks at Forest River and FROG. HOMESTEAD PICKERS, a group from Silver Dollar City will be putting on a show that will be spectacular. Beings that this will be Memorial Day week lets all dress up Patriotic in RED WHITE and BLUE in rememberence of all of the troops serving us all.
Saturday is wide open for more shopping, show going, sightseeing or just sitting around and solving all the world issues. We have not solved any yet.....but we can try.
Sunday is get out of town day.
ABC will honor our $31.00 per night if you want to come in early or leave later than the scheduled rally dates.
THANKS AGAIN FOR ALL OF YOUR SUPPORT.

Wish I was able to be there with you my friends.
Have fun and make sure they know that the FROGS made it back for Spring.
ABC just sent me a letter that they wanted the FROGs back.
See you all soon in Goshen my friends!

Branson plans smashed
We had really planed on attending, made the arrangements and headed East from our winter home in AZ. We have had absulutely no problems with our Cedar Creek 5th wheel. We dodged thunder storms tornado's even slid threw Broken Arrow just hours before the tornado visited and tore them up..Sorry big Bob the weather just didn't look like we wanted to hang around there besides we knew we'd see you in a few days in Branson. We landed in Lincoln State Park in the Huntington IN. When we plugged our 50 amp plug into our30 amp reducer we popped the breakers. Nothing was working except what worked with the batteries. We have a home refrigerator that runs off the converter when plugged into the truck, that stopped working...not good.. it's full of food and freezer is full because this is our home and we carry all these goodies with us.
We managed to get a local RV repair man to come to our aid.. almost 4 hours later after checking plug etc all in the pouring rain we decided to set it out that night and leave the fridge shut to keep it cold all night. The repair man offered his shop lot to us that had a 50amp plug to try and see if we still had 50amp service. Sunday morning we moved to his lot and yes the 50 amp saved us and saved out refrigerator and freezer.
We still had the graduation of our grandson in Indy to attened before going back 800 miles back South West to Branson. There came the problem..do we want to chance another 1,600 or 1,700 miles on this trip with a faulty converter (if that is the problem) or just head the 240 miles on back home to MI after the graduation. We chose to scrap Branson to save our sanity.
Hopefully we can get this taken care of back in Mi and if not we'll have our friends check it out in Goshen.
Sorry about not being in Branson with all our froggy friends from the first international Frog Rally. We'll see you in Goshen.

OK, it’s time to try Billy Gail’s Cafe again. Everyone I’ve talked to that has eaten there raves about this establishment. I’ve only been there once for a breakfast and I wasn’t impressed. The parking lot was way too small and there was a long wait for a table which is usually a good sign. That one time we ate there our service was incredibly slow and the food was just OK. I remember my bacon being cold, a real black mark in my book. Based solely on reviews I’m going to try this café one more time.

Is that the one next to the wilderness? Sounds about right. It's like eating at an old farmhouse. I thought the food was good. Go ahead and order the pancakes. They're about as big as a basketball. They weren't as fluffy as I'm used to but still good. I didn't finish mine.

It stinks Bob for sure. We'll be in Goshen even if we have to put it on a flat bed and have it/us delivered. Just kidding. I'm sure we'll get it taken care of. Just not sure I need to tack another 1,600 miles on this presently happening 2400 mile trip home. Ain't no fun with no electric.

Branson update
Good business all.
We are going to miss George and Peggy for sure...and look forward to seeing those smiley faces in Goshen.....
We had another cancellation over the weekend from some folks who came up against some family issues. We wish them well and hope that we get the pleasure of meeting them somewhere down the road in the future.
Now the good news.....I got a call this morning from some folks in Louisiana who will be joining us and this evening got a couple emails from some folks in Indiana who will be joining us.
We were at 32 rigs...then 30.....now back to 32.....and a good time will be had by all.
ABC Campground still has room for any other folks who decide to make reservations at the last minute.
Everyone travel safe and we will see you all either Tuesday or Wednesday.

What is the best way to ABC campground coming from Springfield Mo. Google shows a windy path and ABC shows getting off 65 on 248.
