FROG Canada Eh Rally June 14-17 2018 Kingston Ontario

Hop on back, or leap on up for your first time, to our lily pad in Kingston Ontario.

After only it’s first time ever, Rideau Acres Campground played host to over 75 FROG rigs last year from both Canada and the USA at their location just outside the 1000 Islands Region.

Plans are underway for another great get-together, and updates will be posted here as we work toward making your visit a memorable one. The best way to let everyone know of your interest and answer any questions, will be to visit and post it here.

In the meantime, present details and registration procedures are can be found by visiting the link to the FOREST RIVER OWNERS GROUP, clicking on events, and scrolling down to the posting for 2018 FROG CANADA EH RALLY. Jump on and get yourself registered for another great time with fellow FROGS in a terrific location.

Forest River Owners Group - The official owner's group of Forest River RV, manufacturer of world-class recreational vehicles.

See you there!

In conversation with Rideau Acres, we’ve heard that a few more FROG rigs are registered than the number of emails I’ve received. Please review the instructions for registering here

Forest River Owners Group - The official owner's group of Forest River RV, manufacturer of world-class recreational vehicles.

including a follow up with an email to me for name tags etc. Just scroll down to FROG Canada Eh Rally for my email address.

If there are problems registering online, then contact the campground by phone to register, but let me know by email.

Any other questions....post them here for everyone to share the info.

Stay tuned and we’ll chat soon.

Coming up on mid-January....

I’m betting the winter of 2017-2018 will be one you’ll be talking about for sometime, no matter where you are.

Registration has been steady albeit slower, probably because of the crazy temperatures, but we are working towards our June get-together. Approximately 25-30 rigs are already booked and includes first timers and a number of returnees!!!

We have a variety of units already booked....(we’re unofficially an official Rally with Berkshires in attendance. ) and, just like rabbits, the number of rPods are multiplying

How about some chatter from owners of some of the various makes and models to see if you’ll be “one in a million” or “one of many”.

Either way it’ll be a fun time for all.

Hi, great to see a link from Ontario, Canada. I am from Windsor, Ontario and is new to this and after searching for a few months, me and my wife ordered a E-Pro 19FD and picking it up in April. Me and my wife are excited about this. Do you know if any forums or web site out there have more info for Ontario rv? We learn a lot from this site and its post but want to know more specific related to Ontario.
Btw, I understand this post is related to organizing for this summer get together. Hope you don't mind for the newbie question.
thx.

eseeweb.....

Congrats on your Flagstaff purchase and the world of RV-ing and camping.

As far as getting your question out to others about Ontario related issues, I suggest you introduce yourself onto the forum under the heading
“Welcome mat” and post your question there. Aside from that, here is a website based in Ontario that may help

Home

And....if you’d like to meet other Forest River product members at our FROG (Forest River Owners Group) see about joining us at the Kingston Rally this June.

Hope that helps.

Just registered with the campsite. This will be our first rally and only the 2nd or 3rd trip with the trailer. Total newbies as we don’t even pick it up from the dealers until the end of March. You will be able to identify us easily - just look for the couple with “I have no idea what the heck I’m doing” expressions.

We were all once Newbies

Rallies are a common place to find Newbies in attendance because we’ve all been there....regardless of what we may tell you. 😁

Experienced Rally attendees can always spot the “Deer in the headlights look” and are ready to help like you’ll never find anywhere else. The added bonus at a FROG Rally, is that there’s a very good chance there’ll be others with the exact same make and model as yours to guide you through your concerns. Even before you arrive, all you have to do is post your concerns here on the forum.

Then watch the flood of help (or humour) addressing your posting.

FROGS helping FROGS.

It’s what we do while coming together (aka FROG Rallies)

Hi There Don't be nerves about your first trip, we'v all have been there . I suggest going out the first time close to home to get a feel for your new rig . I changed up last fall from a Motorhome to a tow behind and even that was a new learning experience. jest take it slow and ask questions ,

That’s exactly the plan. Already booked for a couple of nights in a site 30 mins from home shortly after we do the pickup. Probably try to get one more quick trip in before the rally too.

Rally’s getting closer...can you see it?

Here’s a live link to the highway camera, and it’s honestly less than a mile from the Rideau Acres Campground for real time conditions. (that’s just about 1.6 kms for those of the Metric persuasion)

If we could control the link, you could turn the camera towards the North up Highway 15 and keep tabs on your campsite

Just sayin’
