Frog events

Hello, we are in central Fl and the new owners of a Silverback 31RK FW and wondered about the Frog events/rallies. Do you have to sign-up to attend? or just show up? and if you do show up, is there a section for Frog people?

thank you, and looking forward to attending a frog event.

Congratulations on the trailer. You picked what should be a good one from what I've heard from other owners. Yes you usually have to pre register for most events and rallies as we are often limited in the number of sites available to us. This can be seen by the fact that there is a waiting list for the Charleston rally and also another fall rally at the present time. You can find out more about the rallies etc. by logging on to the FROG-Forest River Owners Group site. There is no cost to become a member. That being said there are many times when someone is passing through or camping in the same general area, they are welcomed to stop in for a meet and greet or day visit if it is okay with the facility or park area. You may have to pay for a day pass in some instances. Enjoy your rig and we are glad you chose to be one of us. Old Guys (Brian and Joanne)

Oops I forgot. Yes there is usually a section for FROGS as you must be one to attend. There are getting to be so many of us we are unable to accommodate S.O.B.'s........Some other brands. Old Guys (Brian and Joanne)

It may be a little trip but in Iowa we are having a FROGtober Fest in the German town of the Amana Colonies. (Actually there are 3 towns ) What a better way to celebrate Oktoberfest then in a German town. The information is available under Frogtober Fest in this section.

Regarding the 31RK,hmm no problems so far, what type of problem(s) do you have? so we can check also just to make sure. had questions on it but have not encountered any bad things so far (knock on wood).

and thanks on the info for the Iowa frog event, a lot depends on the time frame for us, with work and all as we are not fully retired yet : )

thanks for response.

We had hot water in all the cold faucets and the toilet. Say they have it fixed. Black water leaks by the valve. added another valve ahead of the other. Have to be sure and close left hand door on frig 1st. Found out the voyager camera is a mirror so everything backwards behind you. Good luck

the items you mentioned were not in our 31RK, less the fridge, as I kinda found out first hand that we needed to also close the left fridge door first then the right side. Our 31RK is pre-wired for rear view camera so we don't have that yet. but got some good insights on it from this site from other frog peeps who have that installed.

I've read that you can change the camera image in the menu program of your monitor. See if that can be corrected that way.

Have not tried but the dealer said they called company and our model is just a mirror so everything is backwards. Just for backing up but is nice to see what is behind you.

It is hard to find an RV park that will let you have lots of spaces. For example the Texas FROG Rally above was allowed 70 spaces at the Buckhorn Lake Resort in Kerrville, TX, and there is a waiting list. So far we have been unable to find an RV park that will give us more then 35 spaces in East Texas for a rally.

I've had some success in working with parks to get more spaces allocated. Please give me a call at (574) 825-8532 or send me an e-mail if you'd like me to try to help with specific parks.
