Hi there Bob and Cindy. This sounds like another humdinger of a rally and we really were debating on coming when this old fool slid off his front porch on a night of freezing rain last Sunday and broke his hip. I have just spent the week in hospital getting a steel rod placed in the thigh bone just below the hip joint and after some long term therapy and such I think we will have to set our sights a little further down the road and hope for the best by Washington or Branson. I know you will but have fun in the sunshine state and say hi to everyone for us. Brian and Joanne (Old Guys)

Brian, I can't (and really don't have to) tell you how lousy that is! My sister-in-law recently did exactly the same thing recently. Mike and Yvonne (some of you will remember them from DC or the Grand Canyon trip) headed south after the rally broke up in Albuquerque, and went to Roswell, Carlsbad Caverns, and into Texas. Near Corpus Christi, Yvonne fell at a campground and broke her upper leg exactly the same way. Pin, week in the hospital, rehab, then back to St. Louis where she's still having some rehab a couple of days a week.

Work hard on it, and we'll be looking forward to seeing you back on the road soon. One of her therapists told her that the worst tendency is to "baby" the leg, when the pin is actually stronger than the original bone. "Get off your but and start walking" was pretty much the message.

Hope to see you soon on a road trip, and certainly this summer in Goshen.

Thanks for all the good wishes people and if I'm not back on the road by Goshen, maybe I don't deserve to be a FROG. Keep most of your thoughts for Joanne as she will probably suffer most over this (whiney old men eh) and everyone drive careful and have the best Christmas ever. Old Guys

Oh oh. I think I've seen this girl in action before. Watch out she is a real live wire despite the picture in her signature. You guys are in for a real treat. Now I really do wish I had been a little more careful so we could have been there too. Have fun and Merry Christmas to all. Old Guys (Brian and Joanne)

That picture does not do the "QUEEN" justice as Old Guys says.

Sorry that we can not be there. Maybe in Goshen in August.

Merry Christmas ALL

Counting the days to the rally, can't wait for the 6th as the year has been sort of a bummer not getting to travel, but looking forward to the new year and going north for the summer
