FROG in Texas?
Is anything planned for Texas this year? If not anything in the works how can I support or host something?

There is a FROG Rally in Kerrville at the Buckhorn Lake Resort
in October from the 4th thru the 9th. This will be the fourth Texas Rally
and they have all been in Kerrville at the Buckhorn Lake Resort over Columbus Day weekend. I have already made my reservations and they allow 75 sites and in the past, all three years, they have filled up.
We don't do much RVing in Texas in the summer because it is to hot and humid.
We go north in the summer for better weather.

We are considering going this year, in-laws and parents are already booked. Can anyone give me an idea how these usually go? Are reps there and such?

Member organized, normally no reps are present.
Possibly the organizer has contacted a local dealer for an onsite display.

Passing on information on Kerrville rally:
2016 Texas FROG Rally in Kerrville
The 2016 Texas FROG rally from October 5-9 in Kerrville, TX will soon be here. We are half full at this point, so if your planning on coming call BLR soon! Then let us know per email.
This year we have some new things going on, one of them is Friday night will be a dinner and a show (Michael Riley, TX entertainer nominee of the year), it's 25$ per person +tax, this is for FROG guests only, you will be charged at the time of registration. You must cancel a month before the rally for full refund.
Rally fee this year is 15$ per person. This is for the welcome dinner, pancake and gravy biscuit breakfast,(a few donuts) and pot luck dish.
This is a FROG rally, so you must have a Forest River product to attend.
If you have any questions please let us know, we will be sending out an itinerary in a couple months to those that are signed up to attend.
Several folks have asked to send in their rally fees so here is the information:
The rally fee is $15.00 per person.
Please make the check out to Dan Stenholm
And send to:
Dan Stenholm
515 County Road 3823
San Antonio, TX 78253
Also, if you would please e-mail the names of each person in your party, the city you are from, and the Forest River unit you currently have (Cardinal, Rpod, Georgetown, etc.) We would like to have this on the name tags this year.
Lori and Dan Stenholm

KIPKERS just an FYI, Ron Hoover RV dealer provided two technicians last year to do work on the RVs. But you had to buy replacement parts if needed. (free Labor as a courtesy)

Yes, Coachmen is a Forest River product. We purchased a Coachmen last year and verified it was manufactured by Forest River before we purchased it.

The last two years, Ron Hoover RV has had rv's on display for everyone to walk through. Last year that had techs onsite to do minor repairs. I'm not sure if he will be back this year.

For the last 2 years, Ron Hoover has displayed rv's onsite at Buckhorn. Last year, he had a few techs onsite to do minor repairs and answer any questions. I'm not sure of the plans for his return this year.

Thanks. I knew our Coachmen was made after Forest River took over, but I didn't know how the FROG group felt about other brands under the Forest River parent company.
Sounds like it might be time to put in a reservation at Buckhorn Lake after what I saw on the web. Very highly rated RV resort here in Texas!
