FROG - Potential Rally Locations

On Friday morning during Bob's presentation, I ran out of time and had to leave before I could make my suggestion.

While there were some AWESOME ideas, I would like to make an "out of the box" suggestion.

Lots of use the "If you did not set up camp there; no sticker" rule for the camper trackers.

Well, it is a LONG WET DRIVE to HAWAII!

So, FROGGIES, How about this. To promote the Sunseeker or other small motor van sized FR camper sales in Hawaii, we rent them and camp the island for a week.

Perhaps the factory can work with a dealer on the island to "rent" us a few units for a Hawaii Rally.

We would be responsible for air fare and the Rally Fee which would be inclusive of campground fees and a few side tours.

What say ye Bob?

That sounds awesome!
I personally, from Michigan, have vowed never to fly to Hawaii....too far on a plane, get airsick. Would love to see everyone in a lei though.
I'm sure Mountain man already has a shirt and Oakman would gladly dress up in a grass skirt (judging by what I've seen).

Normally I would say there is no way I would wear a grass skirt but my experience with the ventriloquist at the rally suggests I probably would. Yes, out of all those hundreds of FROGs at Wednesday night's entertainment, I was called upon to be the ventriloquist's dummy. With all my years of experience at being a "block head" I guess I was the logical choice.

I have been on all the islands except one & don't recall ever seeing a TT, 5th wheel or MH. There is a campground at an inactive Air Force base (Bellows) in the windward side of Oahu but that is tenting. It has been a while since I lived there or visited, so I am sure there are changes. There just isn't much land for campgrounds & you can just drive home from the beach at the end of the day so it might be a camping problem.

I bet the Forest River techs would love it though. I wouldn't mind it either.

That would put a "crimp" in a rally there. So, for everyone with a "Hawaii" sticker on their "states map"; where did you camp?
