We are all signed up and waiting to go!! Looking forward to meeting so many other members. I would like to hear from other southern Nevada members to know that we are well represented.
Iggy- when we hit the two week mark, can we get a head count to get an idea of what/how much to bring for the pot luck dinner? I have a few things I can do just want to know if it's for four or forty. Thx.

The last I heard about 3 weeks ago we had 21 rigs.
I'm sure Gerry will update us shortly but that is a great question about the pot lucks.
FYI their are many supermarkets in the area to pickup anything you may have forgotten.
See you soon.

Great! We are planning chat sessions that you will find fun and informative.
Forest River is sponsoring a great BBQ dinner and we will have more information on other activities as we get closer to the date.

Golden State Getaway
I want to thank Iggy and Bob for carrying the load for us so far.
We didn't anticipate our home to sell as quickly as it did and we have been "House-less" for the last few weeks.
Not Home-less since we're living in our Cardinal 5th.
There is going to be a lot to do and see in Hemet.
So far, we have 24 reservations for the rally and anticipate more to come.
The park has room for plenty of us.
We have use of the club room for gatherings and meals.
The Palm Springs area is just a few minutes away if you choose to ride the Tram to the top of Mt. San Jacinto.
The Art and the Air Museums are world class.
Nearby Temecula wineries are open and ready to serve up their products to us.
There are several golf courses in the area.
Hot air ballooning over the valley and indoor sky-diving (you don't have to jump out of an airplane.)
Cabezon Outlet Shopping Center is nearby, as well as the nearby Morongo Casino.
Friday night BBQ Dinner provided by Forest River.
Saturday Pot-Luck Dinner (Prepare your favorite for 6-8 people)
Tour of the newest Forest River Factory here in Hemet.
Information will be available at registration.
Hope to see you all and meet FROGs from all over the West.
More to come as we get ourselves more organized.
See you all soon,
Gerry & Linda Reviea

The First Golden State Getaway
Hello Mr. and Mrs. FROG, and all the ships at sea!
Just kidding.
There have been some challenges getting this off the ground, but it's all coming together at last!
The rally starts with some Thursday arrivals, and an informal get-together about 4 in the clubhouse.
We're going to have a dinner catered by Dickey's BBQ on Friday after the 4pm gathering.
A Pot-Luck meal on Saturday evening, please plan on bringing your favorite dish or side for about 6-8 FROGs.
For the early arrivals on Thursday, the Palm Springs Street Fair begins at 6pm on Palm Canyon Avenue. (About 40-45 minutes away) Local artist and vendors displaying their wares for sale.
During the day on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, feel free to see what the area has to offer: Wineries, Museums, Golfing, Shopping at the World Class Cabezon Outlet Mall and don't forget the Morongo and Soboba Casinos. If you want, head to Palm Springs and take the Aerial Tramway to the top of Mt. San Jacinto.
We will have a few surprises this weekend. Maybe a raffle or two. Possibly a tour of the newest Forest River Factory!
The park has over 1000 spaces, so there is plenty of room for us.
Let's try and make this an annual event.
Linda and I will try and pay more attention to the FROG Forum to keep you all up to date.
We'll see you all on Memorial Weekend.

Woohoo! We just reserved our spot for the rally! Our first FROG event. We have a 2015 Vengeance touring 39R12 so I didn't want to wait and chance not getting a pull through. At almost 44 ft., I don't like backing it up! I can, but I'd much rather relax! Lol!
If anyone has any food allergies, let me know and I'll make something special. I am allergic to wheat, so I know how depressing it can be to go to a pot luck and not be able to eat anything!
Can't wait to see everybody!

I was thinking (and DW tells me not to do that!) but in addition to the pot luck dinner, I was going to make a few batches of a tasty adult beverage for everyone to take part of.
Does anyone else have a speciality drink they might want "share" with the world?

Orange Dream
A frothy combination of sweet orange and natural vanilla flavors with just the right amount of vodka.
Enjoy sweet dreams while you’re wide-awake!
I'll pickup a bottle or two and have the ice.
Anyone bringing a blender with them?
All you do is add ice in a blender and add this stuff. Yum!

I don't know any drinks, but I could maybe make homemade ice cream. French vanilla bean custard with real Tahitian vanilla beans. It rocks! I just love having the big kitchen in our Vengeance Touring! I have an additional electric freezer in the garage, so I could have several gallons of ice cream already to go.

Don't worry. 44 ft. will not have any problems here. I'm 54' with my toad and have been at the this resort many times.
Yes the pull-thru's will be our I'm sure and they have plenty of space fro your trucks and cars.
Here is the map and the spaces they usually give groups like us.
Plenty of room for all.
