FROG was invited back to Branson MO. for 2012

I just received this email from America's Best Campground in Branson MO.
We had our 1st Forest River Rally there and was wondering if were planning anything again in late April early May?

Here is the email from the new coordinator.

Hi John,
It was wonderful to have you folks with us this year. May is always a wonderful time to have rallies in Branson. If you haven't heard, Branson is turning 100 years old in 2012 and it should be a great year to come to Branson. There is going to be a Veteran's tribute in March-early April, and the Titanic Museum is also having a 100th year celebration as well. Lots of changes within the theaters next year and many of the existing shows are completely changing their show. Should be great entertainment! The new 2012 Rally planner is finished and I would be happy to send one to you if you are thinking about another Rally next year or even in 2013. Just drop me an email and I will get one in the mail for you.

Anyone want to jump in here or maybe suggest another location.
I know about the hot summer rally to Elkhart Indianna. May to June is nice out in New Mexico, Arizona or Southern California.

The first rally sounded like a lot of fun but my vote is going to my neighborhood of Southern California even if it has to be 2013.

I'm only 2.5 hours away from Branson. I could be interested. Never done a group camp out (rally) other than with several close friends.

We ready for San Antonio Texas! YAH!

That's only 211 miles for you and 1,000 miles for me.

You know this FROG thing took off in 2010 and now Forest River and the others have started their own FROG rally. This is exactly what camping is all about.

Looks like Branson is going ahead & building the $250 million dollar race track. Don't know exactly when or what type of racing will be happening, but might be yet another thing to do around Branson. If a mini rally gets together next year, we might be able to get group discounts to Silver Dollar City. I also have connections to Treasure Lake RV resort in Branson(behind IMAX theatre & across from Golden Corral) that's close to everything. The Old Fella Rally has used Treasure Lake the past few years for their rallies.

Return to Branson

We did the first FROG Rally in Branson last May. We had enough fun that we are in the process of setting up an OLE Navy ship reunion up there in Oct 2013.
We might even be talked into going back in the spring and just might get a few more of the FROG 1 folks to go also.

I just took a picture of my FROG that was given to me during tyhe 1st FROG Rally in Branson MO.
Thought you might get a kick on how it is enjoying the sun and warm temps on the pool deck here in Arizona.
Thank you Dave and Monica.

So Iggy are you implying that San Antonio is to far from you for a trip and a rally? I suggested it becasue of all of the attractions and being somewhat in the center of the Southern area. So maybe we should plan a seperate Southwest Rally for San Antonio area? Anyone interested in a spring meet?

NO. Absolutely not too far for me.
I was just joking around with Billy Bob.

FYI I just started plans for a trip in 2012 heading to Yellowstone Park.

Good to hear , I was at Yellowstone many years ago in the 80's and it is a trip that I will never forget. I hope to take my family there on day.
