well... This IS Missouri...

I've had snowball fights wearing shorts and t-shirts. I've shoveled 14 inches of flurries. I've seen thundersnow. I've seen a high of 39 one day and a high of 85 the next. Nice thing about Missouri, you get all 4 seasons. Sometime all in the same week.

We spent Saturday in the Amanas for the Wurst Fest. Our friend John competed in the Masskrugstemmen and made it over 3 minutes. Non of the ladies would compete in the hanging Wurst competition for some reason. We tried out a few different foods and also watched the Dachshund race. It was a very fun yet hot day!

I could not do the "Masskrugstemmen" contest as my mind would say "that beer is getting warm!" and I would drink it.
"hanging Wurst competition" Is that like the wienie bite they do at motorcycle rodeos? I have seen some women get weird hair from doing that one.

How many days till Frogtoberfest?

I used the time and date calculator. Soooo.....if you don't count today (which I didn't) and you don't count October 5th (which is the first official day so why would I?), I think that we are at the 100 day mark for a countdown!!

The best part for us is that we will be there before the fifth so I had better get going on some surprises that we plan to bring.

If you don't count 10/5 (which I don't) it is 53 days which equals approximately 7-1/2 weeks as of Monday, August 13!

Registered last week for the rally and will be joining you. Looking forward to enjoying the festivities, meeting new people, and seeing some of the friends we made at Goshen this past week.

We signed up this week and will be our first Frog Rally. MH has been laid up most of the summer to replace the Windshield after being broken while it was in the shop having tires put on it. Took 6 weeks after I told my insurance adjuster about it to get it replaced. Now trying to get a mobile tech to come out and repair a bubble in the roof. MH hasn't even been dewinterized yet. Had reservations at West Yellowstone in early July and had to cancel those plans.
We had planned a trip Through Iowa on our trip to Yellow Stone so maybe we will now get that far.

Is the campground full for the weekend or just Frogtoberfest registration full?

The campground is pretty large. Frogtoberfest Rally is full, but we won’t know if the entire campground is full. You’ll need to check with the campground.
