Ellind!!!!

We are seasonal campers here:
Greenwood Acres Family Campground

We had to choose a place heading west since my husband's glass shop is in the western burbs...Livonia. It only take him 40 minutes to get to work. Otherwise, prolly would have chosen in/around Port Huron to the North of us.

I have never been there but have heard of it. I grew up in Flint and spent most of my summers at Houghton Lake or Caseville!!!

Houghton Lake Rocks! So does caseville!

Higgins lake north of Houghton lake is beautiful too---crystal clear spring fed..you can see the perch come up to the bait 30' below the boat...except...they can see the hook....never could catch a fish there. Also, because it's constantly spring fed, it never warms up....Brrrrr! I vote for Houghton Lake any day!

Never fished for Muskie, but Lake St. Clair sure does sport them.
My dad taught me to catch walleye and perch....guess cuz you can eat them! Fresh! Yum!

We have 37 acres 17 miles NW of Houghton lake, I am right by a little town called Moorestown. We love it there but we have to dry camp because consumers will not put power on it unless we are going to build. I love that whole area, but have
preferred being mobile the last few years.

What is even nicer we own it outright, only pay taxes on it every year.
