Varsity

Anyone that has ever attended Georgia Tech, the Varsity has been in Atlanta, and Athens Georgia for as long as I can remember....you have to go to the Varsity at least once a month for health reasons...it works...

I'm not sure, like all things, you have to experience it to appreciate it!

Truth in sarcasm

They say there's a bit of truth in all sarcasm and irony.
The truth is I did have 5 back up accidents in 2 years and I did learn a lot.
Always look. The entire time you're backing up.
The other truth is when I got my first job out of college, it was on the road doing field research with Michigan Cancer Foundation. I was driving a Mustang at age 23. I was a sure hit and got megga tickets. I had my license restricted twice in those days. I no longer would work on the road.
Looking forward to meeting everyone, especially the frogs!!!

We think this is going to be a blast! We are the only ones in our family that RV, they think we are out there!!! We sold everything and bought our XLR, to go along with our Harley. When retirement gets here, we are hitting the road! It's going to be great to know that thru this forum, we will have friends along the way!

Actually anyone can back up or go backwards..
First you point your rear in the direction you want to go and put your TV in "R" then turn the wheel and go back..
Wrong way just turn the wheel to the right and if that's wrong turn it to the other left and if that's wrong whirl it in the other direction, if that don't look right pull ahead and exit your TV and walk around your unit and eyeball the area, then put your wife behind the unit and show her how to point and wave her arms..then get back in the TV and back up again and listen for anything that some one might have left in your way...keep your eye on your wife and start turning the steering wheel back and forth and don't forget to listen. It's simple and will test your wife's ability in the art of parking your RV
You can always leave the camp ground and start all over again, if that proves to be unsuccessful
just drive in the site forward and wait for the person in front of you to leave so you can just pull out when ready to go home..then you can tell everyone you lucked out and got a pull through spot.
Sound your horn and flash your lights to alert all spectaters to bring chairs for an exciting hour of entertainment.
Remember, George will hire out to park your rig but you must sign a waver first. See you all in Goshen.

Lol

I like the leave the campground and start all over method. Once I tried to back up a small boat into my driveway. Thought I'd be cool and take my friend (who is a girl) out boating without the husband.

After disassembling my lawn and knocking over the mail box, I just decided to go around the block and pull in forward. Shortly after, we splurged for a marina slip.

I was just kidding, I have not had any problems so far. But it helps if you have someone directing I can't rely on the DW to do it as the ADHD may kick in and she might see a bird or something. But I am still learning how. Great adviser. I will have to look you up in Goshen

With this crowd, I'm afraid there will be plenty of bucket fulls.

RVChick, I'm with you! I'm 4'11", so it's easy to get lost in the mirror! The last time we used our cells and Bluetooths, was easier! We still have lots to learn! Our biggest deal now is getting the Harley in and out!

It's always a adventure with the wife telling me which way to turn, it's never a good start to our trip. I rather just back it in without any help, that's what they made mirrors.
