You will have a few hills, but not like driving through WV.

The fairgrounds does have dump stations but it would be best to arrive at the rally with your tanks empty. Give the parking team a break and arrive with your tanks empty. The dump stations are way at the back of the fairgrounds and the parking team would have to take you there and then to your assigned camping site. Normally there is a line of RV's to park so the parking team has to hustle.

Hi Grouch1,
This will be our first rally too! See you there! (yes, we will empty our tanks too! I hear they put a big sign on the back of your RV that says "Full of poop because we didn't empty our tanks" if you don't arrive empty........... might be just a rumor, but we aren't taking any chances!!!).
Have a safe drive in!
Karen

Goshen Rally
We recently traveled the Ohio turnpike and we were really surprised to find overnight RV parking with 30 & 50amp power at Travel Centers. They even had a dump station. It was $20 a night, quiet and safe.

Grouch1, it is best to try to arrive with empty holding tanks. If that is not possible, ask someone on the parking team to lead you to a dump station before you get parked.
Forest River will have a pump-out truck come around to everyone's site woh is not on FHU on Wednesday (might be Thursday before they get everybody done) and do a complimentary pump-out.
First rally...you're gonna' love it!
See you there.

If you are nervous on filling up your gray tank if you have a toter( which I believe someone asked about) there are dump stations on the grounds you can take them to empty.

Unless you are fortunate to get a full hook up site, you most likely will be parked "hobo" style (all in a row & very close to fellow attendees on each side). So, once parked, you are there for the duration of the rally. It would be a real hassle to hook up, go to the dump station then, try to back into your narrow spot again & re-level.....especially if you're parked in the NE field. If you practice frugal water usage, you should make it to "pump out day". Besides, you won't be using much water because you'll be out and about most of the day attending seminars, tours, RV displays, vendor displays, socializing (Tiki Hut! ) etc. But, if you have a tote, you should have no problem.
Enjoy the Rally.....it is truly an amazing event!

Bringing a portable blue tank is insurance in case you need it, there are showers in some areas and kept clean.

I would advise against the Tiki Hut as they creates more output......
