Goshen Rally - Dometic Awning Material

We were one of a few campers who were offered a "good will" awning material replacement due to pre-mature (though out of warranty) material failure.

If you were offered a "good will" replacement by the Dometic team (and they took your awning serial number, email address, and shipping address) and were told it would be shipped to you, please PM me if:

1) You were contacted by email with status
2) You were not contacted by email
3) You received the promised awning material.

Include your Dometic awning serial number in the PM and I will forward it to the folks looking into the situation.

After contacting FR (through F.R.O.G. and Leo), the Dometic promised awning material arrived yesterday. The paperwork seems to indicate that Dometic charged FR for the material and shipping.

Hurray for FR; Boo for Dometic.
Seems all the "Good Will" is headed to Forest River and not Dometic for making this happen.

I saw this posting a couple of weeks ago but did not get the serial/product numers until a couple of days ago. Bob and Al of Dometic also promised to send me awning material along with the adjustable arms for the awning and some insulating parts for my rooftop A/C. I never received any of the items.

I will try to send a PM to Herk and to Bob with the information.
