What types of service requests are they able to do at the rally?

Just about anything, I have seen axles changed, all light fixtures, microwave to convection ovens, motors, furniture and list go's on. If they can't fix or add something at your Camp Site they send you to the factory either FR or Lippard. Plus they will install anything you buy from a vendor there, but with that the vendor has to put in the request.

This sounds like a wonderful event. Is there a cancellation policy? We would be coming from Ontario and our travel to the US is dependent on getting out of country travel insurance. My DH can only travel if he is 90 days stable with a pre-existing condition.

They'd prefer that you schedule before the event.

If you find that you're unable to attend, we'll refund your money. Unlike some events where we have to pay in advance for campsites, we don't have forfeitures to worry about on our campsites. The one exception is that we have to make non-refundable deposits on some of the tours, and those could be an issue.
We understand that medical and other situations come up (one of our members hit a deer before he got across the border two years ago), and we make every effort to be fair. If we start getting a lot of situations where it looks as if people are just locking up spots while they make up their minds we might have to rethink this, but not now.

Regarding service requests, we try to get those submitted in advance so that we can line up parts, personnel, outside component suppliers, and other resources that we might need. If you have an emergency situation that comes up at the last minute we'll try to deal with it, but it's much better if we can get advance notice.

My dealer takes pretty good care of me, so I have no current needs for service, but I was still wondering. Is there any charge for these service requests? It wasn't really stated one way or the other and I figured new people (like us) might want to know.

There's no charge. It's a "thank you" for being a Forest River customer and attending the FROG Rally.

I broke a string shade in the Silverback last week so I guess I’ll be sending in a service request soon. I never could figure out how to restring those darn shades.
