Some of you have already seen my post but trying to get a show of hands for a central Utah rally.

Curious- who would be up for a Utah rally?

Anchor Down RV Resort is close to there and is a much bigger campground. Sites are very well spaced! The resort sits on a ridge above the Douglas River so the view from the resort is fantastic!

Now let's look at places that locals can have a FROG rally.

Here is my suggestion:

Frog City RV Park
3003 Daulat Drive
Duson, LA 70529
It only has about 62 spaces for a small rally.

RV Parks Lafayette | Lafayette Campgrounds | Camping Near Lafayette - Frog City RV Park
Another Louisiana RV park that is a little closer to New Orleans (if sightseeing in the Big Easy interests you) is Reunion Lake RV Resort in Robert, Louisiana. At exit 47 off I-12
reunionlakerv.com
They have been given a perfect 10-10-10 rating from the Good Sam Club. Sites are concrete and well spaced. 2 pools, private lake, clubhouse, game room, and gated entrance.

Thanks for the suggestion! I will add it to the suggestion box for 2018 southeast rally. Do they have a big pavilion or clubhouse?

You have to be a member of FROG and you have to have a FR camper (anything from truck camper up through a class A). Different rallies are different sizes. There are small rallies and large rallies. The rally I hosted in Mt Airy (Mayberry) had around 65 rigs. The PEACH rally in GA next summer is limited to 40 rigs. The Bamaganza rally originally had less than 30 rigs but grew over time. The Amana colonies rally I believe had at least 100 rigs. And of course the factory rally maxed out somewhere just south of 800 rigs I believe.... these numbers are approximate and based upon things I have read on the forums. Please feel free to correct any misinformation.

I just checked them out. Nice suggestion. Great location and stuff for the kids to do.

Yes, they have a big pavillion. A clubhouse was in the planning stages, but I am not sure if it has been completed yet or not.

Canada 150 Frog Rally in Kingston Ontario next June has 45 registered and we have 105 sites possibly more.

Personally, as a native Californian, I think Bakersfield is the armpit of Calif. and would be one of the last places I would go to for a vacation. Sorry.

As a fellow Californian, I would vote for Morro Bay/Pismo area, too. How about the San Diego area? I have heard that Chula Vista RV Resort is a great place.
