Great places to have future FROG Rally's

We all know great campgrounds around the country.
Now let's look at places that locals can have a FROG rally.

Here is my suggestion:

Frog City RV Park
3003 Daulat Drive
Duson, LA 70529
It only has about 62 spaces for a small rally.

Bakersfield RV Resort
Bakersfield California
Has lot's of spaces, and is really a RV resort with everything.

Bakersfield RV Resort

Obviously you use this in the fall winter and spring and NOT in the summer months.

One of my other RV clubs will have their annual event here in early April 2017.

It don't have all the amenities of some campgrounds/resorts but I could get us setup at Holiday Shores in Durand MI. Since I know you just stayed there this summer you know the place also. It does have a new clubhouse with bar setup and a pavilion in the club sites section. Also a nice 9 hole golf course. Could probably reserve for 50 units. Downside is it's a majority seasonal site campground with over 600 sites. Our family has had sites here for 25 years.

We just stayed a few days not the summer.
So I guess we have met there?

This would be nice for a smaller group (10-15 rigs) but because what you said it would not be good for any larger groups.
No Wi-Fi, No cable TV

DW and I stopped and said hello at Goshen and I was following your thread on your trip through the UP. Saw you stayed at Holiday Shores before driving to the rally. They do have cable and Wi FI at each site but they don't always have the cable turned on in the weekender section as they call it. But I am good friends with the owners. Could probably get golf cart rentals also. They have 2 sections for club rentals. One has 35 sites the other has 15. We have had concerts, car shows, cookouts, you name it so can really setup just about anything. The larger section of 35 sites with the pavilion and large community fire pit would be ideal for a smaller rally.

Darrens02,
I am not sure about ALWAYS! We heard about a recent winter of 300 inches of snow and 60 knot winds for a week!!!
July 7-14 we were at 'Eagles Rest RV park' and Valdez is a beautiful place. We will come there again, maybe next year.
Bears and Bald Eagles were abundant at the hatchery. Salmon so thick in the water you could have walked across them.
Travel safe

In Valdez I'm sure you have reasonable weather year round.
Spent 8 years in Fairbanks and remember -65 degrees below zero.
We used to drive to Anchorage to warm up and thaw out our cars.

Inverhuron Provincial Park in Tiverton Ontario. We had a Rally in Spring 2016 with 35 trailers from our HOA. Plans are underway for next year already.

We had a FROG Rally a few years ago there. Really great park for the kids.

The Perry, Georgia Fairgrounds is a great place for a rally.

But that's just like an open field. Not all full hookups, no wifi.

How about California, such as the Central Coast/ Morro Bay area or Bishop(eastern Sierra) or Northern NV such as Carson city/Reno with their Casinos and close to Lake Tahoe.
Personally, as a native Californian, I think Bakersfield is the armpit of Calif. and would be one of the last places I would go to for a vacation. Sorry.

Haven't been there but based on website and campgroundreviews.com, River Plantation RV Park in Sevierville, TN is on my list of places to consider.

There is large rally park in Blyth Ontario used for Steam Thrasher show. Some sites are 15 amp and others 30 amps. All have water.

A double dump station gets busy upon exit.

It's in the middle of no where and nothing to do but small local theatre.

Also Bridgedon Fairgrounds, 15 amp electric.

Thanks for the info. This will be on our list of parks going (Nov) or coming (March). RV park reviews it as 7.7 and the current rate of $29.95 (minus 10% Good Sam) makes it very reasonable.

Do you have to join to be in the FROG or just have a FR camper?

How many units typically show up at these events?
