How busy in Goshen?

Hi, this is our first RV Rally and not sure what to expect.
We are signed up for tour #4 and nothing else.

1) How much free time do you think we will have? I would like to drive the toad over to Elkhart a few times.

2)Any idea what vendors might be at the rally? I would like to see furniture options & not sure if I can do that at the show or need to go elsewhere.

We can stay a few days in Elkhart after the rally if we need to - just in the planning stages now.

THANKS IN ADVANCE

You'll have time to drive around on your own.

Vendors only include mattresses.

Last year La-Z-Boy was there. Well, sort of. The sales rep wasn't there much.

FR Accessories had some lame couches and a couple recliners. I believe they could deliver from a catalogue to the rally site. We bought a bed ourselves.

RV show before the FROG Rally

Thanks all for your responses.
Based on your feedback I did a little more research to see what we could do in Elkhart. The Midwest RV show will be held the weekend before the FROG Rally. So we are going arrive in the area a few days early rather than staying behind after the rally is over.
As always, your feedback & wisdom is greatly appreciated!!!

Two years ago they had quite a selection of recliners. When ended up going to their showroom and chose some Lazy Boys. Before deciding we also visited another show rooms in the area. Sorry I don't remember its name, but it was about 5 miles east of the Goshen campground.

Might check Master Craft in Shipshewana. Just south of town-just south of the flea market on the East side of the Hwy.

On Tuesdays & Wednesdays they have an auction & flea market in Shipshewana. Some booths at the flea market have furniture.

Go or call the Chamber of Commerce in Shipshewana for any information in the area.

Some time back someone was telling of an Amish company that made custom furniture for RV's Couches-chairs & such. I just can't remember their name. They had a web site. I might of read it on another forum ?? It was in or near Shipshewana. If I find it I'll post it. Maybe someone else will recall??

The name of the Amish company that builds couches & chairs is Lambright. Topeka ind.
phone 260-768-3087. They are located just about 3 mile south of hwy 20. On hwy 5 then one mile east. Big yellow sign on hwy 5.

I just started doing some internet research on them. We are thinking of taking out the sofa & replace it with 2 recliners... but not sure about that yet
Thanks!

Our Berkshire has a lip (2") that is part of the slide. It can not be removed. So this does not allow us to go with individual recliners. For sure two recliners was our choice. Just don't work in our coach. It probably could work but the recliners would have to be stationary ?? The double reclining couch is real nice.

Here is what we did.
Removed cheap sleeper couch and Euro chair and installed double recliner and a small roll top desk. Fit perfectly and is more functional for my DW and me.

That looks nice. We don't have that much room. With the double recliner they are building for us (similar to yours) we only have 12" more. They at building us a 12" sofa table. Has three small drawers.

Hi Iggy,
Where did you get the recliner couches. I would love to ditch the sleeper couch and euro chair! Is it difficult to take out and replace with recliners? Thanks
