If I was going, it would be 2543 kms (1500 miles) and it would take me 24 hours of driving to get there. Might be a good reason why I'm not going.

I travelled 6500 kms last summer pulling my brothers TT across Canada. And don't let my handle fool you. I am a wuss. My profile name came from the factory coolour of my truck. I'm not very original either.

We're departing Tucson in time for an early arrival at Goshen on Aug 1st. It's 1870 miles. Can anybody top that?

2545 miles from Concord, NC -Goshen-Moline, IL-Knoxville, IA-Trenton, MO-Moberly, MO-Martinsburg, MO-Belle, MO-Lonoke, AR-Concord, NC. That's dragging the 5ver, more side trips, so it will be in excess of 3000 miles and about 40-45days.

How exciting! Now will you be in one place in Florida, or travel around?

We will be at Fawn Ridge at Deer Creek in Davenport, FL for 2 weeks and then 2 weeks at Thousand Trails Orlando just north of Kissimmee and switch back and forth for the 4-5 months with numerous trips to flea markets, restaurants, friends homes, Parksdale Farms for strawberries, etc.

You guys are all NUTS! My trips have never exceeded 100mi and I treat those pre-departure checks like a pre-flight inspection... For 500 to 1500 I think my checklist would have to include a heart attack check box.
