How many FRF members would be interested in an off road event in Colorado or Utah?

Trying to get a feel for how many of you would be interested in this type of Rally?

Depending on dates and where, but I would be, especially if it's Jeepin'.

I like jeeps too!!

What kind of dates are your preference? Most of the places we like to do this kind of stuff are July, August for Colorado mountains (Taylor Park?) or early spring or fall for Moab.

Mid September is fantastic for Moab (4000' elevation.). There is an RV park just outside of Moab that we camp at and you unload your toys and ride right from the park. No trailering involved at all!

Same at Taylor Park (9300' elevation). Just ride right out of the campground to hundreds of miles of trails.

Some of the trails at Taylor Park go well above tree line and the views are fantastic.

As well as the desert views of the south western US!!

It is quite a bit of fun being able to wake up have breakfast make a lunch and go ride for the day.

Full hookups at both locations as well as dry camping.

If you are into this sort of thing, these places are an off road meca with some of the US's most beautifull sites to see!

A picture from Napoleon pass in Taylor Park CO. last week.

That sounds very good. We are in Illinois and usually travel to Wisconsin to find trails. We are retired and a trip like this sounds like fun. We are mainly into trail riding for the scenery now days although we aren't afraid of a little mud either. The elevations may require carburetor adjustments to on the DW machine but a ride like this sounds like we would be interested.

My family (DW and 3 kids) are pretty much trail riders as well. There is plenty to see for sure.

I am thinking of a time next year to get this together. Would like to see if any others respond to the thread before I start a commitment to host such an event.

Another consideration might be Ouray Co and the Alpine Loop
It is in southwest Colorado between Lake City, Silverton and Ouray.

You just can't beat the views

I would love a FROG Rally in CO sometime in the summer. I am a FROG member from the Texas group.

We would be in depending on:
1) When
2) Where
3) If off-roading was an option
