X2 on checking junk mail box. All email coming to regular inbox except the original email. It went to junk for some reason, guessing the attachment triggered it to the junk box. It moved over to in box without any issues.

Ace we have 18 so far for dinner, I talked to the Restaurant today again. They told me the more is no problem but to give them a heads up before. He said that being we have hit close to the 20 mark they are going to come up with a special menu and pricing. He also said we can bring our own cake in when I complained about the 7.00 price they had on there menu. I was thinking German Chocolate, or Sids favorite Carrot Cake. Anyone have any other ideas or which do you prefer post it on this site so I can take a look at them...It is going to be GREAT night...

Forgot to put in post, that you will still be able to order off the menu posted also, he said that it is easier on the kitchen this way they have found, also for you beer lovers they stock 40 different brews and tap beer from Germany.

Being a German restaurant I vote German chocolate cake but yellow or marble with buttercream icing are always a hit too. I'm not a fan of carrot cake at all.

I think that will be just fine, I like staying with our German Theme for our celebration. I can't wait for that German Beer. I spent 6 mos. in Germany when I was in the Army, I use to love the little what they called guest houses that were really small restaurants just all over the Country Side. But that was in 1968... PS: by the way if anyone is still undecided don't worry the close off date won't be before the last week in May. I think there is no better way to meet old and new FROG friends before the big Rally. Ace (RJD) has a quite busy rally planned, and sometimes people get spread out.

Ally, I never even checked before I read your post about driving time. I checked and it seems my Drive Time is about the same as you 6.5 hours, but you also live close to me just 70 some miles south of me....

I can relate to that WD as I also was in Germany in 67 and actually lived above a Guest house. Use to go out to eat at the guest house every month when we got paid. We should have some good German beer to choose from at the restaurant. Should be a great evening. Later RJD

Yeah, Clarksville looks to be a little over an hour from us. Which way are you going to head down? Through Charlotte and over. Or west through Asheville and down? Asheville is longer but avoids the crazy traffic/construction around Charlotte.
We are technically 5 hrs Charlotte, 5 1/2 hrs via Asheville without stops but will likely have enough time in stops to make it at least a 6 hr ride, more if traffic gives us issues.
