WooooEE! I can relate! As every good German knows, Potato salad is supposed to be warm AND contain bits of bacon (speck).

Just to get you all worked up, German chocolate cake did not originate in Germany. It was a cake mix originated by Sam German for Bakers Chocolate company using Bakers sweet chocolate which caused a spike in chocolate sales for the company. The original recipe was from a Texas homemaker and published in the Dallas newspaper in 1957. According to Snopes.

Heads up for rally folks. If bridge repairs in Atlanta are not complete by Georgia rally time you may need to seek alternate routes. 285 may go into over load with all the detour traffic. In case you missed it we had a major fire under the I85 bridge and south bound lane collapsed now it looks like north also affected due to heat. Later RJD
