Lunch spots in Goshen
DW , filling out meal schedule for the week excluding a couple of tours we are on. Maybe a couple of lunch spots too look up before we depart. Looking for some suggestions from seasoned Goshen rally people.

You should try the Olympia candy kitchen. They have a breakfast with fresh squeezed orange juice that you see them squeeze. They also have a lunch menu with a good variety of sandwiches along with a soda fountain. It is in the original building since 1912 located on north main st. https://olympiacandykitchen.com/

Go to Youroo's space in the 400 group, he's a old Army Cook and loves to feed anyone who is hungry, best food in Goshen.

All depends what you're looking for. If you head up to the north side of town (near the Meijers) there's a variety of the standard chain places, like Applebees. South side of town, (near the Walmart that's across the lake from the fairgrounds) is the Lux Cafe that was mentioned, as well as a Ponderosa and a Wings type place that I forget the name of.
However, one of our favourite lunches is day we'll head out to the Cheese Haus in Middlebury. We'll either get some fresh grilled cheese sandwiches from there, or we'll stop at Forks on the way back into town, pick up some bread and other fixins to add to the cheese we picked up and then let the kids play in the park across the street from Forks while we have a nice picnic lunch. (I believe that one is one of the kid's favourites).

We liked the Goshen Brewery. Friendly staff, good micro brews and pretty good food.

This area has a large representation of Amish which provides a lot of good bakeries.
