I have my 2 10x20 ez-ups with sidewalls, we should be able to stay covered. I just need to figure how to get them there. Trying not to have to take my trailer, since I'm going to leave the cart at home because of weather. I think I can talk my brother into bringing them.

We're coming up from Tennessee and have been on the road for a week. Anyone coming in on Wednesday? We may to beat the rain for setup. Group hasn't voted yet on the early arrival.

Currently (no pun intended) watching river levels in the STL. I live south of the city, and they are worrying about having to close I-55. If that happens, we will be pretty much trapped. If 55 goes under, all other roads out of the county will be under as well. We are bounded by rivers on 3 sides. Cant go north. Cant go east. West is out too, only way is south and right now, it looks like memphis is the only open crossing over the mississippi.

Floods in Dec of 2015 closed I-55 for about 24 hours. Right now they are calling for a crest better than 4 feet below 2015 levels. Thatll keep off the highway, but its still gonna be close.

I am contemplating brining the camper to work tomorrow and if necessary, just spending the night in it before heading out. That'll put us north of where I-55 would be closed.

The problem is, I work in "not the nicest" neighborhood, and I'd would seriously be worried for my safety and property if it was left overnight. Ya'all ever see "National Lampoons Vacation" where the Griswolds get off the highway in St. Louis? Yeah. That's about true for where I work.

Latest update:

I-55 will close tonight sometimes after evening rush hour. All other routes out of Jefferson county will also close near that time. No time frame given for reopening.

There's no way I can get home and get the camper out before they close it down. Our arrival at Tadpole is now up in the air. Looking like it wont crest till Thursday AM, but at this point, nobody is even guessing when we will be able to get out.

I am looking at alternative routes. Damn thing is, I need to cross the Mississippi river and most non-interstate roads approaching it are closed as well.
