Oh,by the way, are you taking a floor jack or do I need to bring either 1 and1/4 or 2 and1/2 ton....that's if OC leaves his Sureline.

Sherline and parts are ready to go. If you estimate your pin wt is over 1500# the 0#-2000# gauge should be changed for the 0#-5000# gauge. The picture shows how the parts should be used. Place the square plate on the jack, Sherline next, jack the entire assy up until the pin starts into the tube and slide the U shaped plate around the small dia of the pin and jack the assy up until the landing jacks clear the ground. DO NOT PICK UP THE SHERLINE BY THE TUBE. It must by lifted by the red portion. For those wanting to get the tongue weight of their trailer, the tube assy may be unscrewed and the hex pin installed to fit inside the tongue socket of the hitch.

Also note that both 5ers and tt should be level to get a proper wt.
