Wow so many of you are out there camping!! That's so fun!! Saph travels to you all, and please send pics!! We love them! I was retired for 4 years, and am now taking my turn at working again and now my DH can retire full time!......and I am very cool with it! BUT, I can't wait to be retired at the same time, so we can travel too! I am happy that I live in the country, and my views are amazing....so in the mean time, I will pretend I am camping!! Uh...no...that did not work......I'm just sayin.....

  • The DW and I have already booked two tickets for the Friday night Opry...now from the post I'm seeing it probably was the right thing to do....$60 tickets, Section 3, Row D.....we agree with others, no one should get stuck with all the tickets on a credit card if we had done a group thing.

I have info! I have Info! Today, me and Betsy went to the Grand Ole Opry. Here is what we did. We bought the tickets on line and picked them up at the door. You can buy your tickets on line, print before u leave or pick them up there.

Here is what we did today.

We got there at 5:30 for a 7:00 show. We got our tickets, went to the JIP JOINT (gift shop) and spent some more money. The doors open at 6:15 so we hang out and five minutes later, the doors are still closed. It is at that point we remember, we are no longer on Eastern Standard Time. Thats how we discovered the next part of the story....... There is a "Dave and Buster's" right across the street in the gigantic mall. For all of you in the middle of nowhere, this place is basically an adult arcade with food and alchohol. So plan on going to the mall around 2:00 and setteling in for the duration, but find a driver or a bus. There is a good place in the mall that you can get yourself a really nice pair of cowboy boots, even if you are a size 14.

Great show, and every night they are celebrating the 90th year of Opry Land. Tonight we got to see a great show, including the closing act of Brad Paisley.

Well worth the money. There isnt a bad seat in the house.

Donald, tell the folks at Little Farm on the River "hello" for us. We were at the Tadpole Rally last year, but can't make it this year. We are in Bristol, TN (toured Bristol Motor Speedway yesterday) and we're heading to Beckley, WV today to visit a coal mine.
