We should arrive early on Thursday but made no plans to attend shows so either chilling and meeting folks or sightseeing.

Reason we're going to a show is because other than racing, we don't get much of a chance to do anything else.

Will aririve early on Thursday as well. No plans to attend the "Grand Ole Uproar" as it is called around here. A couple of the musicians that play and record theire attend our church. Just plan to hang out and visit. Depending on FROG dinner plans will do water park one of the two full days! On to Goshen on Sunday to be there on Monday.

Thanks for that update Turbs, now I can't say I didn't see it. How could I have doubted you? Shame on me. Bob and Margo your welcome. I remember last year when I stopped after Goshen, when you go downtown there is a wanta-be at every place you go. They change about every 2 hours. Plus all the music on each corner. The drinking holes are fun and really they have some great free shows. The down town is pretty big, The best way we found was to buy a day pass for the Tolley, and you can get off and on all day and night at any stop. I think it hits every stop atleast one will like every 15 mins. You pick it up at the old train station on the river across from the football stadium. I paid more to park my truck then the tolley. It was 25.00 to park. That shuttle (thanks BombDoc) will be alot cheaper. Check the # of this post #1990, this a popular thread.

Do you have campsites reserved? Camping at the fairgrounds is less than desirable, but there are excellent campgrounds within a 20 mile drive at Saylorville Lake, but it fills up fast too.
