I was there last 2 years also. Theres the coveted FHU along the noisy tracks and even more non-sewer spots in the Columbus group section. So I'm no closer unfortunately to knowing. But thanks for the thought!

I believe you can arrive early at the Fairgrounds on Thursday or Friday -- call Bev or Diane at the fairgrounds: (574) 533-3247. They will know for sure when you can arrive. We will park you in the slot you have been assigned for the rally when you arrive early so you do not have to move when the rally starts

[QUOTE=OldCoot;924246]Sherline and parts are ready to go. If you estimate your pin wt is over 1500# the 0#-2000# gauge should be changed for the 0#-5000# gauge. The picture shows how the parts should be used. Place the square plate on the jack, Sherline next, jack the entire assy up until the pin starts into the tube and slide the U shaped plate around the small dia of the pin and jack the assy up until the landing jacks clear the ground. DO NOT PICK UP THE SHERLINE BY THE TUBE. It must by lifted by the red portion. For those wanting to get the tongue weight of their trailer, the tube assy may be unscrewed and the hex pin installed to fit inside the tongue socket of the hitch.

Also note that both 5ers and tt should be level to get a proper wt.[/ How long is that adaptor? Is the jack on ground or in bed of truck? Reason, my jacks have different reaches.....yeah, ones a Dodge jack and the crappy one is for the......(others). And, didn't drop mic, get .....you lucky people, kicked off here at 10 am as this is an employees computor and I'm to cheap to up my phones plan...BUT, don't worry, I'M BACK!

The jack has to be in the bed of a pickup on 5er's the complete gauge is only 10" high including the bottom plate that sits on the jack.

It can be set on blocks for a tongue trailer.

Youroo, HSVBamaBob and WannBCamping don't quite understand that the Music City Frog Phest Rally and the 2015 FROG International Rally in Goshen, IN held Aug 9-15 are 2 separate rallies on 2 different dates in 2 different states and 2 different threads.

BTW, this is NOT the 2015 FROG International Rally in Goshen, IN held Aug 9-15 thread..

10/4......My valve spring checker works similar, pressure wise......will not be abused unless those off brand tv's bed can't handle the extra weight of the jack......might need a carbon fiber one.

Thanks, I got the bracket kit from OC last year at Goshen. Haven't used them yet because we were looking at new campers.

Be safe and have a ball y'all!
Dennis, I think I might have gotten the first version once in a fortune cookie at a Chinese buffet. The second version was on the wall at Cracker Barrel.

SUMMARY FOR TODAY!!

-Some think Nashville is Goshen
-A Shurline gauge can measure my pin weight but jacks are heavy and Chev and Dodge trucks are overloaded so jack might be an issue
-Better get my Awning Poles ordered, powder coated available (great idea!)
-Chinese Buffet Fortune cookies contain funny sayings "Be Safe and have a ball Y'all"
-Bob is attempting a burn out in front of Turbs trailer at some time during the rally
-Bomb Doc has a better truck than Turbs has..
-OC is stiring the pot but still not coming to N'ville or Goshen... He doesn't know what he is missing
-There are big fish in the Piercy Lake!!!
-I am suppose to bring a leaf blower and clean everyones sites as I am arriving either Tuesday or Wednesday!
-Discussion around Sewer vs the Electrical and Water sites at Goshen, this is a separate thread on its own!!

I think that sums up the day!!

14 Days till it all starts in Nashville!!!
