Cottonwood Campground. Overnight stop, 33 bucks 1/2 star out of 5 stars.
Camping south of Louisville on I 65 exit #53 in Kentucky has two easy off/on options. Cave Country RV Campground 300 feet to the east (left). And Jellystone Park Camp Resort 2500 feet to the right (west). This will put you about 100 miles from the shores, easy drive the next day. Be sure to follow HWY 155 toward the airport/Knoxville as you get into Nashville. Safe travels!

Got 3 pin weights today, Turbs, BombDoc and AquaMan. Gauge worked fine altho we did have to put the 5000# gauge in it. I think all 3 guys were surprised a little. 1900#, 2100# & 2200#, I'll let you guess who's was what.

Thank you SillouettePenny for coming to the CG to help us! DH and I had a blow out on the RV just as we were getting to the Shores, we changed it to the spare, and you came out here to get our tire and take it for repairs! Love this FROG group!

We have found that it is a better idea to never take food into the US (free trade only goes one way) unless it says made in the USA, their anal about food fruits veggies, our side it's booze smokes and guns our ability to say no to all has kept us moving smoothly so far.

[QUOTE=RVChick;935714]Ok so the sites that back up to the lake are quite the view...but the spots across the street are sweetly shaded!
Attachment 84230

Good to know! We will be rolling into #13 Fri evening. Was hoping for good shade with the temps the way they have been.
