Hi Bob & Nancy
Seems like your next rally is growning. Wish we could make it but too many things happening locally that will stop us for any distant travels for awhile. The only plans we have are the Balloon Festival in Albuquerque NM in in late Sept early Oct with out friends from Special Military Active Retired Travel Club - S.M.A.R.T. (military RVers) LINK
Anyone who has served and discharged honorably can join. Many regional groups. This is the link for the SW Chapter, Texas, New Mexico and Oklahoma. LINK

My wife was able to get the 20th-24th off.
So I called Natural Falls and had them add the night of the 20th on our reservation!
So see you guys then!

P.S. Bob, I'm gonna have to see if a local shop here in Eufaula can make us a couple those shirts with the FROG logo. Those really look sharp.

Just wondering....

If any of you are planning to bring any kids or grand kids to the rally at Natural Falls?

We have two grand daughters, 8 & 9 years old, that we could bring but only if others are doing the same.

Talked to my contact at DAVES CAREMORE RV'S today and they are having an open house and free show next week Thursday thru Saturday. JULY 13 to 16.
Thay have sent out a 15,000 piece mailing to draw folks in and part of the mailing tells folks that they should come out and meet some FROGS.
I will be there with my FROG ballcap and shirt and try to recuit some more folks.
If anyone is in the neighborhood...stop in and see the great folks at DAVES and get more info about the FROG Rally at Natural Falls State Park in 2 weeks.
DAVES has really taken to the FROG idea and have offered to give us something for a door prize at our FROG Rally.
...AND WE THANK DAVE AND JOE O'BRIEN FOR THEIR INTEREST AND SUPPORT.
BTW...at least 4 of the rigs that will be at the rally were bought from DAVES.
Hope to meet more folks next week. BOB

That's great news. I've dealt with Dave's in the past and they are a good dealership. It's great to see they support their customers after the sale!

Look forward to meeting everyone in a couple of weeks. If you haven't joined in yet, it's not too late. To reserve a camp site call 918-422-5802. Just tell them your with the FROG Rally and they will take care of you.

I've got more GREAT NEWS!!!!

Ron Walker, owner of Leisure Time RV in OKC, just sent an email saying that Leisure Time will be donating a door prize give away!

It's great that we have a couple of dealerships here in Oklahoma willing to show their appreciation by participating in their customer's activities!

Frog rally natural falls state park

Hi folks.....Getting closer and closer...and in answer to Gary Rhodes question about a plan of the day Nancy and I have put together a very basic...and subject to change a few ideas for our rally.
Wednesday July 20...Set up...Meet and greet, and after supper Nancy and I will provide watermelon, cantalope, and a frozen fruit desert.
Thursday July 21...We as a group have one of the meeting rooms reserved for ALL DAY. Not sure if its got A/C in it or not.....but sounds like a good night for a potluck supper. Thinking with a small group we could collect money and go to town and get KFC for a meat and we all bring salads, veggies and / or deserts.
Friday July 22...We have come up with no ideas. There are a lot of walking trails in the park, a casino in Siloam Springs, etc. Any other ideas are welcome.
Saturday July 23....open day also and Oil Capitol Racing Series sprint car races at West Siloam Speedway that I know there will be a few us attending.
If campfires are allowed Nancy and Shirley Breed will lead a S'MORE fest at least 1 night.

There is nothing chisled in stone here folks...just some ideas to get started. Any other ideas ...just holler.

Just as a heads up...we will have door prizes donated from DAVES RV in Claremore and from LEASURE TIME RV in Oklahoma City, and perhaps another surprise from Forest River too.

BOB

Bob, looks like a good plan. When we get there we'll see what we can do to help out.

There's a good chance that we will be bringing our two grand daughters, ages
8 & 9. I hadn't mentioned this trip to them, but somehow they found out. The oldest asked me about it yesterday and also asked, "We are going, aren't we?"
I'm always given a hard time around here because, PaPa don't say no!
I told her we'll have to wait and see, but don't be surprised if we pull up with 'em in the truck.

Thanks Gary.....I will be spending some time at DAVES CLAREMORE RV'S on Friday and Saturday to visit with folks as a "FROG" as they have an OPEN HOUSE AND SALE this weekend. I'll get door prizes from them on Friday.
The grand daughters will be more than welcome I'm sure.
The surprise from Forest River came true today and we have goodies for everyone from the fine folks at Forest River.
See you all next week.

BOB

Sale day at daves claremore rv & frog

I spent the day at DAVES CLAREMORE RV at the OPEN HOUSE AND SALE meeting folks and visiting about our FROG group.
Help me welcome Gary and Anita Fry from Hominy, Ok and congratulate them on the new Wildwood they picked up today and Bill and Thelma Totten current Georgetown owners.
Both couples will not be able to join us next week but they are interested in future outings.
The pictures are of the flyer they sent out for the sale with a mention inside that FROGS will be here.

It has been hot. Temps in the mid 100's here at the house the last few days. Tulsa is predicting a high temp of 108º by next saturday!

Siloam Springs, Arkansas has had high temps in the high 90's. That's still hot but at least it's not in the 100's.

Siloam Springs, AR 72761 Month Weather Report - AccuWeather.com

Maybe we'll be able to cool off at the rally!
