Great time at Bamaganza, Anne-Marie and Bob did a great job thank you both, was great to see friends from past rallies and meet new frogs. That last campfire with 'FRANK' will be hard to repeat my sides are still aching from all the laughing we did.

Frank? Which Frank? We had Frank, Frank'et, the 2 magic scepters. One metal, the other wood, on fire and not on fire. RJ sitting on the black cooler, not saying what was in the cooler, but, he had to get up and stand much more than he sat. Looking forward to next year. Hopefully Frank will be back, with new stories to tell.

Kathy and I can't begin to express our appreciate and gratitude to Bob and Anne-Marie and the rest of the staff for the work that was required to host such a fun-filled successful event that we all experienced over the past few days....we have just completed our 2nd leg of trip as we have now arrived in the Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg area....we talked all day of the new friendships formed at 2016 BamaGanza....we know RV friends are the best.....our calendar is now being marked for 2017....safe travels to all.

Argh! Bama Ganza and Texas rally are same dates again in 2017! Can over of these rallies be moved to the next week so people can attend both great rallies?

Becca and I are heading out this morning. We want to thank Bob and Ann-Marie and all the volunteers that made BamaGanza16 such a huge success. It was great to meet all the new Frogs and re-unite with the familiar faces.

This is by far the most fun group we have been with!!

We will stop near Dothan, Al. For the night and back home to Florida on Tuesday.

Bill, Becca, Shelly, Walker and Lexie (the 3 shelties)

Thanks To Everyone Who Attended BamaGanza!

Made it back to Huntsville last night and collapsed (actually we both soaked our feet while watching TV... our dogs were barking )

Thanks to EVERYONE who came to BamaGanza and made it the greatest rally ever! It's all the attendees that come to the rally and volunteer, help with registration, food preparation, the Grill Sergeants, breakfast servers and cleanup. Everyone that attended contributed and pitched in, and that is what has made BamaGanza what it is today!

Campfires make camping so special, and thanks to the several folks who donated wood for our evening campfires - WOW I think we had 2 1/2 cord of wood! I know we left a bunch for the campfire last night - and I bet that there is STILL over a cord of wood left that will be enjoyed by other campers in the campground - again thanks so much for your kind donation!

Everyone brought food to the pot-lucks and farewell breakfast. Everyone had fun because everyone contributed and participated.

Folks were telling us all weekend long that BamaGanza was less like a RV rally and more like an annual family reunion! We are very flattered by those comments - thank you from the bottom of our hearts!

Finally, we would be remiss if we did not send a huge shout out to our Entertainers:
  • Donald & Rollie for our karaoke entertainment Sunday - Thursday evenings.
  • The Clog Wild Cloggers for their performance Friday afternoon and then leading line dancing in the evening.
  • For the second year, The Heaton Brothers Band brought the house down at the Grill Sergeant BBQ on Saturday night.

Again, thank you to everyone who attended - Anne-Marie and I can't wait to host BamaGanza '17!! (And a little birdie is telling me that CSMRetired - Dennis - THE Grill Sergeant Major, and his lovely Bride Sandy will be co-hosting next year!)

Oh and thanks to FRANK for the impromptu entertainment at Saturday night campfire - our sides still heart from all the laughter!

On a more serious note...

We wanted this to be a separate post from our thank you post.

The generosity of BamaGanza attendees is amazing. We collected over $800 in charitable contributions from the t-shirt sales, silent auction, and people just coming up and donating money.

This past year we have lost 2 of our fellow FROGS: Nancy Miller and Mary Coubrough lost their battle with cancer. In their honor and memory, we will be dividing the contributions equally to their local hospices who provided comfort and care to them in their final weeks. We miss you so much Mary and Nancy.

Another great rally, met new crazy FROGS to mix with the old ones. Made the short trip back home without any problems. Looking forward to next year. How many other RV manufacturers offer this much fun? Good reason to stick with Forest River.

Becca and I made it safely to the Ft. Rucker KOA for the night pulling in a little after 3 PM. We were followed all the way from Noccalula Falls by a Georgetown!! We escorted Elizabeth who is traveling by her self and made sure she found her way to I-10 to finish her 600 mile trek home.

By the way, for those who left Sunday, a few of us had a nice farewell last night but could not get anyone to sing.

A great big thank you to Bob and Ann Marie for making it a Spectacular and "Spooktacular" Bamaganza. We really enjoyed ourselves. Made it back to Osprey Florida this afternoon. Hit a lot of evacuation traffic just south of Atlanta yesterday but made it home slow but sure. Enjoyed meeting new friends and connecting with best friends again.

The only thing that I would like different is maybe when posting pics we could put forum handles or actually names to some faces. I am horrible with names and faces connecting. Some I can remember and then some I can't. Maybe one day I can figure out how to post our pic and names. Great time was had by all I encountered. Great rally

The Earle's are stuck at the campground still. Truck broke down 2 miles from campground. Nice local man towed our Aviator back to campground. Truck towed to ford dealer. Campground very nice to accommodate us.

I had some work done at the Ford dealer in Gadsden and was very satisfied. In my opinion they are a very good dealer. I hope your experience is similar.
