Oklahoma FROG January dinner

Well.....All of the holidays over.....Here we go in 2013. HAPPY NEW YEARS EVERYONE.

Our Oklahoma FROG dinner in January will be at KNOTTY PINE BAR B QUE on Kenosha (71st St) in Broken Arrow, OK. on January 19th at 5:00.

We have the private room reserved and looking to fill it up with 25 to 30 folks. Please holler back here or to hotlapsbob@hotmail.com.

Got a note last night from TOM MORGAN...General Sales Manager at DEAN'S RV in Tulsa.....that offered something for door prizes at our Jan 19th FROG dinner.
I went by Dean's RV today and Tom very graciously offered ...not 1.....but 2 gift cards worth $50.00 each.
What a way to start out the 2013 camping season with $50.00 to spend at DEAN'S RV store.

Hi folks.....Be ready to meet some new folks at our OKLAHOMA FROG DINNER on Jan 19th. We have heard for 5 new couples from Tulsa, Owasso, Oolagah and Waynsville, MO. who will be joining us for some great bar b que.

As of this morning we have 14 couples planning to come to the OKLAHOMA FROG dinner Jan 19th.....AND.....DAVES CLAREMORE RV has called with the info that they have put together a group of items for door prizes that I will pick up on Saturday morning. Could you give me more info on this please. We have a 2012 Grey Wolf we bought at Dave's RV. Do you have to be a member, are there fees, the scoop please? We know nothing about these FROG's you speak of. My wife thought the dinner was going to be frog legs.

Hi folks.....To join FROG...Forest River Owners group...go to www.forestriverfrog.com and click on the link to join FROG......or join us next week at Knotty Pine Bar B Que in Broken Arrow.....sorry...NO FROG legs on the menu. 5:00 Saturday the 19th of January.

As a group here in Oklahoma and surrounding area we go camping as a group during spring, summer, and fall, go to rallys set up by the "HEAD FROG" in Indiana, and during the winter we get together for dinner to meet new folks and keep in contact with "OLE" friends.

There is no cost to join and everyone buys your own dinner, and this time we have gotten 5 door prizes from Deans RV in Tulsa and Daves Claremore RV's.

Looking forward to meeting you...if not next week, maybe somewhere down the road.

Hi folks. We had a GREAT turnout last night at Knotty Pine Bar B Que in Broken Arrow. Final count found 31 folks turned out for great food.....great fellowship and I know a bunch of new friendships made that will last a long time. Thanks to McKinley for the great help pulling names for our door prizes.
Please be sure, if you stop by Deans RV in Tulsa or Daves Claremore RV to thank them for the donation of the GREAT door prizes for last night. Also if you are going to the Boat and RV Show next week in Tulsa, stop by and let ALL 5 of our local FOREST RIVER dealers that we appreciate their support of Oklahoma FROGS. Daves Claremore RV, Deans RV Tulsa, ROUTE 66 RV in Claremore, Scotts RV in Tulsa and Hunter RV in Sapulpa are all Forest River dealers and have been verry supportive of our group.
Thanks to Bob and Cindy Byrne for the support...sending the FOREST RIVER lanyards, name tag holders and name tags, and the FROG license tags for everyone.
Get well wishes go out to Don and Shirly Breed and to Jim Page. Hope to see you all out at our next dinner.
Speaking of the next Oklahoma FROG dinner.....Bob Schwarz offered to set up the next dinner and he has sent me a note saying that he has it set up already at UNCLE BUCKS at BASS PRO SHOP in Broken Arrow...NOT IN SPRINGFIELD, MO. as some folks suggested last night.....on February 16th at 5:00. We will have the room until 9:00 so we can spend a lil more time telling stories and visiting.
Thanks again for all of the folks who came out last night and we hope to see you all again in February.

.....OR.....A Branson dinner with a MO. vs OKIE challange of some kind. I'm thinking maybe there might be more Okies at Branson than those from MO.
