Ontario CANADA, FROG Chapter

DW and I have been discussing a Ontario Chapter of FROG's. We have some ideas and would like to see if anyone is interested in planning a group and then look at possible campouts. Ontario is pretty big place and I am sure we could find a place midway that might suit most FROGS.

We have unfortunately had a bit of tragedy in our life this summer so we might not be immediately active but I think we met at the Kitchener RV show where we were boosting FROG so you know we want to be in if it is a go. Old Guys (Brian and Joanne)

Is Waterloo to far from Kitchener?

Might need to explain that one for the non-locals.

I get it. My paternal grandmother's family is from Cambridge. Was up there 14 years ago doing some research. Studied the area a bit before going up so I could have an intelligent conversation if I ran across certain people.

Beautiful area - 5+ hrs away, but......

Kitchener and Waterloo are twin Cities. You can pass from one to the other with out knowing it if you don't see the sign.

We would be interested in this, I thought I had posted earlier but the connection in this camp ground is sporadic, we are from down town Komoka, there are more people on the forum from Ontario than I thought there would be.

There's an Ontario event on the calendar for next June, and there will likely be more coming up. From the "Events & Calendar" page at www.forestriverfrog.com:

Experience Ferris Provincial Park's 300-foot Ranney Gorge Suspension Bridge.

Enjoy a BBQ dinner sponsored by Forest River & FROG.

Make reservations at www.reservations.ontarioparks.com or (888) ONT-PARK. Reservations open 1/4/2015. $40/night electric, $35 primitive.

Thanks Bob, good to know. But I don't think there's any harm to planning more than one as long as we're not on the same weekend right?

That'll give some of us a better chance to join if we can spread a few around. After all, Ontario's a big province. For example, that one you referred is twice the distance from here than it was to get to Goshen.
