Not in an rv. Stayed in the lodge once for a week. It is a nice place, and I've launched my boat there a few times years ago. A very good friend lives in the Parkside neighborhood beside it. I was there last week. We go to cypress bend state pk a couple of times a year. Just for convenience.

Here is the info on the next FROG Rally in Kerrville and how to sign up.
Last year they had to turn away about 30 people, so if you want to go, call Buckhorn Lake Resort (BLR) now and register with Lori and Dan.

2016 Texas FROG Rally in Kerrville
The 2016 Texas FROG rally from October 5-9 in Kerrville, TX will soon be here. We are half full at this point, so if your planning on coming call BLR soon! Then let us know per email.
This year we have some new things going on, one of them is Friday night will be a dinner and a show (Michael Riley, TX entertainer nominee of the year), it's 25$ per person +tax, this is for FROG guests only, you will be charged at the time of registration. You must cancel a month before the rally for full refund.
Rally fee this year is 15$ per person. This is for the welcome dinner, pancake and gravy biscuit breakfast,(a few donuts) and pot luck dish.
This is a FROG rally, so you must have a Forest River product to attend.
If you have any questions please let us know, we will be sending out an itinerary in a couple months to those that are signed up to attend.
Several folks have asked to send in their rally fees so here is the information:
The rally fee is $15.00 per person.
Please make the check out to Dan Stenholm
And send to:

Also, if you would please e-mail the names of each person in your party, the city you are from, and the Forest River unit you currently have (Cardinal, Rpod, Georgetown, etc.) We would like to have this on the name tags this year.

hey! Brian Moran got the approval to attend the Kerrville FROG rally. 😂 Called him and asked him if he was in area if he could come by. We will have a FR rep there.

There will be a quilting demo, FR rep. Will be there, Thursday night an fri morning. Dutch oven demo, which I'm really excited about, thanks to JC, wine tour, hike at los maple park. Dan should be getting out a itinarary next week.

Dave, when r you getting in? Tuesday night we r having a early arrival pot luck, it's my favorite part of the rally, we get to sit and really meet everyone.

Sites 55,59,61,62,64,75,76,77,78,79,80 are in a loop and all sewer sites, and as of right now all available for those date. If we have enough interest we will contact Bob at FROG. The park does have a big pavilion also.
Airport Park is a C.O.E. Park that has been closed since the May floods, is reopening Dec 1st.

Mammoth National Monument, Baylor University, Texas Rangers Hall of Fame,
