We had to stop into our dealer on the way home from Goshen in August and mentioned the rally to them. They had no idea that there was even a rally let alone what the Forest River Owners Group was. We even had a look at some of the units that they had on site, and sure enough, most had the FROG card hanging from the cupboard handles.

If it wasn't for accidentally finding this forum as well as joining FROG, we would have never even known about the forum. I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of new Forest River owners are missing out because they are not aware that FROG exixts.

When we bought our sunseeker in Aug. I asked the dealer if Forest River had club or group like some of the other rv makers do. He said " no ". Then when I found this forum that's when I found out about F.R.O.G. As for as the tags in our new rv, when we went to pick it up the dealer techs had taken them down and threw them away. I guess that's why so many of us don't know about the F.R.O.G.

We talk to other FR owners when we camp too, but they look at us funny (like, FROG, really? ) Some stickers or pamphlets would be great ~ will send Bob an email as well. The more the merrier!

You might want to send a brochure to the dealers as that's where the promotion of the FROG club should start. Just a thought.

Buckeyegal, good suggestion. In fact, in September at our Dealer Expo we started rolling out exactly that -- a new 2x3 foot poster and matching 8 1/2 x 11 inch information/registration cards for display in a showroom and service area. We'll have them again at the RVIA Dealer Show in Louisville the first week of December. We hope that these, along with the material that's already in new Forest River RVs, will help us reach an even greater audience.

I'll try to scan and post a copy of the new card so that people can see what it looks like.
