Rallies other than Tampa

Florida is a big state. It seems like only having a Frog Rally in the Tampa RV show in January is tough to get to for some of the distant folk not retired. How do we get interest in one in North Florida? Sounds like fun!

Laurajean, last year we had a rally in St. Augustine. Do you have suggestions for other locations?

We've also had interest in Sarasota, which, of course, is near Tampa.

I would have to give it some thought. I am checking into the Tampa event now.

All rallies and trips are posted on the "official" FROG web site. If something isn't on there, it means it isn't finalized yet. Although most events also show up here on the forum, the FROG site is where you can find all of them.

This year's dinner will be on Sunday, January 11. NOTE THE EARLY START TIME OF 3:00 p.m.

The best way to make a reservation is to send an e-mail to me at frog@forestriverinc.com. Please put "TAMPA DINNER" in the subject line.

JOIN US FOR EARLY DINNER ON SUNDAY, JANUARY 11 IN TAMPA, FLORIDA

Are you planning to be in Florida for the Tampa RV Super Show, or just happen to be in Florida in early January? Once again, FROGs will be gathering for dinner in the Tampa area in advance of the show.

Plan to join other FROG members for an early dinner at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 11 at the Exit 10 Café at Lazydays RV, located on Interstate 4 at Exit 10. Note that the Café is at the campground registration office, not at the dealership. From the exit, turn north for about 1/4 mile past the dealership and turn left into the campground. Café 10 is on the right, just past the pool.

Dinner will include:

• Roast Sirloin of Beef with Gravy
• Grilled Salmon with a Red Pepper and Cilantro Cream Sauce
• Creamy Mashed Potatoes
• Selection of Fresh Vegetables
• Chef's Mixed Salad with Two Dressings
• Rolls with Butter
• Warm Apple Pie with Ice Cream
• Regular & Decaf Coffee, Sweet and Unsweetened Tea, Assorted Sodas

Cost of the dinner is $10 per adult, free for your family members under 12. Payment can be made at the door by cash or by check payable to Forest River Owners' Group. We can't process credit cards for this event.

Please let us know by Thursday, January 8 whether you'll be coming so that we can give a count to the caterer. To reserve a place, e-mail frog@forestriverinc.com with "Tampa Dinner" as the subject, or call (574) 825-8532.

Just get in touch with Bob above and start others in Florida. Two years ago on this forum we discussed a FROG rally in Texas and Lori took the ball and ran with it.
We just had our second FROG in Kerrville, TX in October. We had 70 RVs there both years, that was all that the RV park would give us and there was a waiting list of others that couldn't get in. Forest River, thru Bob, provided a great meal and many other items like ball caps etc. I have already booked us for the third Texas FROG in Kerrville, Texas in October 2015. Contact Lori here, she is in charge and does a great job. Both my wife and I greatly enjoyed the rally both years and look forward to the 2015 rally. The Buckhorn Lake RV Resort in Kerrville, TX is first class. Good Luck
