Restaurant Recommendations in Goshen Area, Please
It looks like we will be arriving on Thursday with brother and sister-in-law driving over from Chicago to spend the weekend with us. I remember last year some of you mentioned several restaurants in the area that were worth a visit. I really don't want to be cooking for company so please let us know who you recommend and what their specialty is. Thanks.

Tony's Famous Grill, 103 N 5th St, Goshen, IN 46528-3224, is good. We ate there a couple of times last year.
Also, we went to lunch with youroo and his DW last year at Olympia Candy Kitchen, 136 N. Main Street in Goshen. Funky and fun!
EDIT: X2 on what youroo said, Lux Café was very good.

Restaurant Recommendations in Goshen Area, Please
Essenhaus on Hwy 20 at the west edge of Middlebury. Great Amish style food. They have a buffet and also a family style dinner. Actually ate there at lunch today. I'm picking up new coach in Elkhart.
Probably 15 mile north of Goshen

Thanks for the good suggestions. Please keep them coming so we can all benefit. Seems to me I heard someone mention a local hofbrau or steakhouse kind of place. Any ideas?
Is there a Steak & Shake in the area? Not fancy, but it seems like the right amount of food for a reasonable price and would be good for lunch.

On US33, the road leading into the fairgrounds, there is a McDonalds, Burger King, Arbys, Taco Bell, Lux Café, Wings Etc, Taco Time, a Chinese Buffett, Ponderosa and maybe some others I am missing. All of those are in a two mile radius of the fair grounds.
As others have mentioned, South Side Soda Shop is good, cheap and a little funky, same with Olympia Candy Kitchen.
If you are looking for some other options, The Constant Spring in downtown Goshen is a newer Gastropub with a cool atmosphere, great craft beer and some good eats. If you love ice cream, be sure to hit the Chief, its fantastic!
