Saguaros in Springtime -- Tucson, AZ, March 1-6

Saguaros in Springtime
Tucson, Arizona

March 1-6, 2015

Tucson will charm you. With its modern buildings soaring hundreds of feet into the clear blue sky, to its roots sinking hundreds of years into the deep dry earth, Tucson has it all.

The Saguaro National Park, on the edge of the city in the Sonoran Desert, is the only home to the landmark saguaro cactus for which the region is so well known.

Visit modern, high tech sites and ancient civilizations existing side-by-side, from the Biosphere II and the Kitt Peak National Observatory to the Mission San Xavier del Bac. Explore the bustling activity of modern Tucson or escape to the quiet solitude and splendor of Saguaro National Park.

Join FROG in beautiful Tucson and get away from the cold. Your desert adventure will include:
  • Five nights of full hookup camping at the beautiful KOA Tucson
  • Welcome / orientation dinner
  • Farewell dinner
  • Three breakfasts
  • Complimentary driving refresher course, including lunch
  • Complimentary maintenance and systems classes
  • Opportunity to explore the surrounding desert and attractions
  • Great fun with FROG friends old and new
All of this is yours for just $295 for two adults in an RV or $200 for one adult in an RV. Additional persons are welcome at $95 over 12 years of age and $50 from 4-11. Children 3 and under are free.

For a registration form, go to the FROG website and click on the "FROG Rallies and Trips" link, or go to www.forestriverfrog.com/rally/#saguaro.

Maybe? If you are coming I'm sure you will see me. I do swim around the FROG pond a few times.
You can still make reservations by contacting Bob Bryne.
Hope that campground information I sent you helps.

You can bring the Frito's.

We have 35 rigs and 66 people already signed up for the Tucson FROG rally.
Yes the weather has been in the high 70's during the day and cool evening.
Clear blue sky and the FROG are starting to gather.
We will have a great rally.

I appreciate very much Iggy and Di's willingness to step forward and host the Tucson Rally for us. With the camping, meals, and seminars, along with opportunities to tour the area and -- most important -- fellow FROGs, it will indeed be a great time.

Thanks, Iggy!

Yes. On the website it says.
Tucson Lazydays KOA
Link
Tucson / Lazydays KOA Campground & RV Park | Camping in Arizona | KOA Campgrounds

For the folks who have never been here is a nice picture. The only difference is we will have blue skys and mid 70 degree temps while the rest of the country is in a deep freeze.

As far as I know we will have spaces 1414 up to at least 1496.

I also attached the Campground map and other information.

Tucson/Lazydays KOA is your desert oasis, featuring beautiful fruit trees abundant throughout the park, with plenty of good times to be had. The campground offers pull thru sites with full 30/50-amp hookups. Or you can try the grassy luxury sites! No RV? No problem. Stay in one of the new two-bedroom Deluxe Cabins with queen beds. Whether you want to relax by one of the two pools, soak in the hot tubs or join in the fun activities, this KOA has something for everyone to enjoy. Lazydays, a full-service RV dealership with a service department, is located next door. Other campground amenities include a restaurant with a full-service bar, an event center and meeting rooms, fitness center, off-leash dog park and complimentary Wi-Fi. Camping in Arizona is a breeze at the Tucson/Lazydays KOA. Pool: Open all year. Max pull thru: 65ft

Lazydays sold the campground to KOA about a year ago -- probably for more than Lazydays paid for the entire complex. They're co-ordinating on our seminars, but the dealership and the campground are now separate operations.
