I will be there since I live nearby. May not camp at the CG as my regular CG is right down the street. Is or are anyone from Forest River going to be in attendance? How about other vendors?

Is it possible for us to only reserve a site for Friday and Saturday night? We can't attend the whole time due to work.

I see lots of posts on the Amana Iowa rally but not to much here, I did look at the Iowa one but considered that it could snow there at that time of year so we are going to Pigeon Forge for some late summer heat as well as a great compact rally.

Consider staying at the campground with the rally. It is never quite as much fun staying near the group, and not being a part of the rally group. Once Oakman and I were passing thru an area where a rally was taking place. We stopped for a few nights, but it was not the same.

Oakman and I are going to the Amana Colonies and the Smoky Mountain rallies and are very excited.

No not afraid of it just hate the stuff especially that early.
Great that you are going to Pigeon Forge we are looking forward to this one as we usually go down there in September but the last few years have been very hot, I love that area touristy or wilderness so close together.

When can we expect more info on this rally. Do we need to tow a dinghy or will transportation be provided to all the venues? Is there a schedule of events.

Thank you if the info is forthcoming. Just trying to plan our first ever FROG rally.

Hoping it is warming in Gatlinburg for the Smoky Mountain rally than it is here in Amana. Down to 33 degrees this morning.

If anyone is interested here is the latest forecast for fall colors in the Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge area of the Smoky Mountains.

"Our forecast is still holding onto what we first predicted back in August. The “best” Smoky Mountain fall colors will be within the days between Oct 10-25 with the highest elevations getting colorful around the 10th and then trickling down into the valley by the 27th. Just keep in mind that color will be spotty with many trees shedding leaves quickly. It’ll still be a beautiful Smoky Mountain fall!"
