Creekwood Farm looks nice. I see they have a rec hall and one fenced in area for the furry kids.

It will be summer after all schools are out. Likely late June but not definite yet.

campground suggestion

We have stayed at Creekwood Farm several times and we liked it. Attractive, level, well maintained grounds adjoining a small creek; on a good highway just one mile down from Interstate 40 not too far from Asheville. Convenient to Maggie Valley and Lake Junaluska, the large United Methodist conference and retreat center.

Take a look at, (and my vote for) Pride RV Campground near Maggie Valley, NC. Just one mile off I-40 @ exit #20. All pull thru sites, meeting facility, small pool & store, laundry facilities with clean bathrooms. Right next to small slow moving river with lots of dog walking area. 6 miles to Maggie Valley (SW) or Waynesville (SE). Frankie's Italian is great eating but crowded after 5pm. Day trip to Lake Junaluska or Cherokee, NC. Fuel up at the Shell station going to Maggie Valley $.10 cheaper than the Quality Plus station enroute to Waynesville.

That one had made my list, I actually sent it to ace last week. Glad to hear someone on here give it a positive review.

Do we have a date for this yet? I'm putting my suggestions together for our club next year and I would like to know if this will overlap our June trip.
Thanks

We stay at Creekwood Farm Rv park near Maggie Valley and Waynesville, they are building a covered pavilion that will be able to be used for outdoor events. They also have an indoor rec center with several tables. It is a great place to go and have seen several rallys there over the years..

There are no final decisions on anything yet. Everything is still in discussion.
