Forget the hip boots, I'm going with chest waders. I'll have my dry suit available as a back-up.

We are also going to miss it this year. We are going on an Alaskan Cruise with my brother and his wife at that time. Really looking forward to the cruise. Not so much spending a week with my brother. LOL

Enjoy! We did one of those a few years ago. Was the best cruise I've been on. We did an add-on to the end and flew up to Prudhoe Bay, took a bus down the Dalton highway and visited Denali, Fairbanks, and Anchorage. Not sure if I liked the cruise or add-on more.

But, what about TRIXIE? She will miss all that individual training. You're not thinking of making a sled dog out of her in Alaska are you!

Trixie would be an awesome sled dog, as long as the sled is no larger than a shoe. LOL. She is 5.5 lbs, and vet says she might go 8lbs fully grown. In other words, I got a snack dog. Kelly is really happy about that. Me... not so much.

She is going to spend that week with some friends. They have an 18 year old daughter that when she came to see her the first time, all she could do was lay on the floor making high-pitched 'squeee' sounds from all the cuteness as Trixie climbed all over her. She is very much looking forward to doggy-sitting.

For the cornhole tournament this year, I would like to propose that we play a round of "Fruit Cake" corn hole.

I'll bite.

Does this mean I should start baking? Seems like a waste of rum.

Still waiting for an explanation on this one!

The majority of the participants are "Fruit Cakes", if that's where you are going.

Joyce and Gary just sent out a test of the e-mail list for the rally. Check to see if you got it and reply. Also, let them know if you didn't get the test email.

Let's get ready to rally. Ribbit!
