Tadpole rally?

Hey everyone. I'm new to FROG but not new to Forest River. I'm hoping to get to a few Canadian rally's in the summer and look forward to meeting some of you.
As I was looking through posts and on the frog site I kept on seeing tadpole rally's mentioned. What are they? What's the difference between a tadpole rally and a regular one?

There is only one "Tadpole" rally, which is held in early spring in the Ohio Indiana Kentucky area. This rally is going into its 5th year this spring and is hosted by our very own Youroo.

FROG was first brought up by Member (Pond Lady) when we were Planning the very 1st Rally of (Forest River RV Owners! The next Forest River Owners Rally was the (OMI Tadpole Rally) later shortened to just (Tadpole Rally)! The Tadpole Rally is the (Oldest Continuous Frog Related Rally)! 2015 will be the (5th) year of the (Tadpole Rally)! Members spinoff Rallys can be called whatever they Choose! Youroo!!

So if I read this right there's only really two official FROG rallies. The tadpole rally and then the original one and the both only held once a year. All the other rallies even the ones listed on the frog site are just unofficial ones held by other members?

Actually, I consider any event either organized by the FROG office or supported financially by FROG to be an "official" FROG event. Many of them are locally organized, and FROG and Forest River provide support in the form of meals, attendance prizes, or other methods.

I hope that I don't leave anything off, because I'm reconstructing the events and approximate attendance from memory, but among the official FROG events that we've either organized or supported in 2014 have been:
  • Dinner at Lazydays Tampa location in January (about 90 attendees)
  • St. Augustine Tour in January (25 RVs)
  • Down by the Bayou Tour (Livingston, New Orleans, Baton Rouge) in February (25 RVs)
  • Waltz Across Texas Tour (San Antonio, Austin, Grapevine/Dallas/Fort Worth) in March (23 RVs)
  • Oklahoma FROG Campout (Texas Motor Speedway) in March (10 RVs)
  • California Dreamin' FROG Fest (Petaluma, CA) in April
  • Pennsylvania Tour (Gettysburg, Lancaster County) in April (22 RVs)
  • Georgia FROG Campout (near Marietta, GA) in April (6 RVs)
  • Tadpole Rally (Rising Sun, IN) in May (35 RVs)
  • Oklahoma FROG Campout (Grand Lake o' the Cherokees) in May (10 RVs)
  • Finger Lakes Wine Festival (Watkins Glen, NY) in July (25 RVs)
  • FROG International Rally (Goshen, IN) in August (510 RVs)
  • Oregon Odyssey (Coos Bay, OR) in September (45 RVs)
  • Southern Ohio FROG Campout (near Cincinnati, OH) in September (35 RVs)
  • Mackinac Magic Tour (Mackinac City, MI) in October (25 RVs)
  • FROG-toberfest (Amana, IA) in October (90 RVs)
  • Ashtabula Covered Bridge Festival (Ashtabula, OH) in October (45 RVs)
  • Texas FROG Roundup (Kerrville, TX) in October (65 RVs)
  • Smoky Mountain Jamboree (Pigeon Forge, TN) in October (25 RVs)
  • BAMA-ganza (near Huntsville, AL) in October (25 RVs)
  • Holiday Festival of Lights (Charleston, SC) coming in November (25 RVs)
More are going on the calendar for 2015 right now, and we're always looking for members to step forward and volunteer to host an event, regardless of how elaborate or simple you'd like it to be.

And I thought the Tadpole Rally was just for those of us who are a little immature.

Y'all have a good time without us this year. The Tadpole conflicts with the Tulip Festival in Pella Iowa so we are camping a lot closer to home this year. We had a good time with you last year and we found out my DW's ameretto limit sitting around the campfire. I'm sure our paths will cross with some of you later this year.
