It's on the itinerary Dan sent you. Somethings are still in the planning, but pretty much like last year.

What is FROG rally?

New to all this, just read forum each day and never noticed rallies. What does the rally cost and what, why, and where? Just interested.

Olandolan, a FROG rally is a gathering of owners of Forest River products. The BIG rally in Indiana is put on by Forest River. The smaller rallies are put on in different areas / states. Generally speaking, a individual or individuals (hosts) pick out a location (RV park) make arrangements ,(set a date and time) post that to the Rally page. Cost very by activities, Rv park site prices, how long you stay, what activities you do. It is basically, a chance to meet other FROG owners, Make new friends, swap experiences, pass on useful information, and create memories.
In the planning stages. Kerrville Rally have a Dutch oven class lined up, a blanket making class, A concert by a local artist, a dog parade and a winery tour and of coarse a trip to Gibson's hardware store. (the last of 2 in Texas) see the postings by lorigirl for more on this rally. Oh yea! some of us have musical skills and we sit around a fire pit in the evening and croak at the moon(sing along)
hope this answers you questions

Wish the Texas rally would be held later so winter Texans could attend. How about in November or December?

Hi Lori and Dan,
We have registered with you all and with Buckhorn, but haven't received any itinerary. We are looking forward to a GREAT rally again this year.
For those considering attending, it is a wonderful time and a great way to make friends and while relaxing at the beautiful Buckhorn Resort in Kerrville.

I'm sure it was some sort of technical glitch,
looking forward to the Rally.
Lori,
I was thinking about organizing a hiking trip to Lost Maples State Natural Area an hour south of BLR on Thursday or Friday. What do you think about that?

Hike..

hey... You do know we are a bunch of old folks?? Right! Just kidding, I think it sounds great, we would have to pass due to my knee replacement not a year old yet, (about 8months post op) doc. Has said he wants one solid yr. before we can get back to hiking, but we normally love it. We r thinking about a Friday wine tour, what do you think about Thursday but you can do it on Friday if that's what you want to do. Will you head it up? We will send out a who wants to go, and to give you a heads up.

Whatever day the wine tour is, I would want to do it the other weekday if possible and we will get in on Wednesday. I can organize it, would want to have a partner to help out and would want to do something like carpool over there, have a buddy system, and go in groups based on ability, there is a .8 mile trail and 3 others that are longer. There is a bird watching blind near the parking lot, so you can still go and bird watch!
Just the beginnings of ideas, glad you are healing up well!
