I've been on the road for about two weeks, since the mailing went out, so I haven't seen my mail. I believe we still have spots. I'd send in the information to get the earliest possible postmark.

I'll be back in the office on or about 1/18. If we're full, I'll give you a call. We'll try to get additional spots from the campground and tour company, and if we can't we'll return your check uncashed.

The first 25 spots were taken by the time we got back from Tampa. I started a waiting list, and the following week, when the Cherry Hill manager got back from a conference, I was able to get 25 more spots and add a second tour bus. Those 25 filled up in two days from the waiting list and new mail.

I've now gotten a third block of 25 more spots. About 10 of those are gone, so we have about 15 available. That will be the end, because the park can't accomodate anyone else for meals in their ballroom.

Yesterday I sent out confirmations to those whose registrations I've received, either by e-mail to those who sent an e-mail address, or by snail mail to the few others who have no e-mail.

Cherry Blossom Festival Trip Is Full

After increasing the number of sites twice, we've completely filled the trip to the Washington, DC Cherry Blossom Festival. We'll be setting up a waiting list in case of any cancellations.

We'll have 74 units, plus two wagonmasters (FROG-meisters), for a total of 165 people attending. We have families attending ranging from 2 to 6 members. Because we're limited by tour bus capacity and dining space, we had to cut off at 74 units.

I just learned today that this is the 100th anniversary of the gift of the cherry trees from Japan to the United States, so there are extra festivities planned for the festival.

This is going to be a great trip!

Have there been any additional vacancies? How do we get on the waiting list? We have an R-Pod so we can get by with 30 amps etc. Please advise as this time has just opened up and we would love to see Washington DC.

Wbillar, send me a registration form, but DON'T send a check with it. I'll hold them in the order received, and call if a spot opens up.

You can download and print the registration form on the FROG website, www.forestriverfrog.com. Here's the direct link to the form:

http://forestriverfrog.com/downloads...20Festival.pdf

The address is on the form.

We're just east of Breezewood on the PA turnpike. Cindy and I are scouting a couple of ideas for possible future rallies and went by Shanksburg, PA to visit the Flight 93 National Memorial around noon today. We'll come into Cherry Hill on Saturday. We'll leave work at the office on our site number in case any early arrivals want to either find us or avoid us.
