AC, frig and dehumidifier water recovery?

Any opinion out there on recovering the water from those devices?

I keep looking at all the water dripping from the AC and wonder it could be plumbed into the fresh water tank.
Perhaps a few drops of Clorox once in a while will keep algae from forming and using a regular pool chlorine test kit to keep an eye on the level should keep it safe even to drink.

Legionnaire's Disease comes to mind. If you must "recover" all this naturally recycling water - only use it to water plants...

Every dehumidifier I've ever had says not to consume condensate, not potable. When I used to have water feature fountains on my deck, I used to use it for that. No minerals in condensate.

Good for use in a steam iron too.

Unfortunately, while no minerals, the condensate contains just about every possible bacteria and other airborne contaminate present in the air that passes through. Even worse, they are all concentrated from the air into the condensate.

Also remember there is solder used in the making of the coils. That is most likely the "not potable" reason.
