We were off of Forest Road 300 near Black Canyon Lake just east of Forest Lakes.

Check with the Forest Service office. My understanding is that you can boondock for up to 14 days in the National Forest or on BLM land with certain conditions: It can not be posted "No Camping", you can not drive off road or across meadows, and it is not a LTVA fee area.

Great photos, thanks for sharing. We had a similar situation while camping at Zephyr Cove on Lake Tahoe 2 years ago. It was the first day of summer, 2017, and the day was sunny and warm. By 5 PM the clouds moved in and rain began followed by hail for several hours. By morning there was more than 4 inches of snow on the ground!! Had to borrow a 14-foot ladder from the maintenance crew to plow the snow off the tops of my slides. By 10 AM the sun was out, the streets were clear, and we were able to get to Boulder Creek near Lone Pine by about 2 PM. My two little dogs were very confused. They had never seen snow before, let along walk in it!!

Bipolar is right for Arizona normally Tucson has already hit 100 by now. Unfortunately, the same all over the country and worse for Midwest and south central U.S. Still, Northern AZ is a summer jewel for RVers here in state.

Yeah I actually live in Oracle so we typically get snow a couple of times a year. I was working in Tucson when it snowed there. Made for crazy shift!

We love the areas between Williams and Flag, and stay there every year. Fall for hunting seasons and Spring on our return from Lake Havasu. This year in April we went from hot/dry to rain/snow in one day. lucky to get the big toy hauler out of the muddy park and back onto cinder road!!!!

...well, everytime I've ever been thru Flagstaff, there was snow on the ground, fall or spring, both... probably summer too.
