Hey, wyo, looks like we have almost the same trailer?

And all you guys have awesome spots... I've never been anywhere similar.

Ocotillo Wells SVRA

Soggy Dry Lake, Johnson Valley OHV area

Found out the hard way, the freezer in the trailer gets much colder than the freezer at home.

And the best part of boondocking?

Camping where we can be loud, crude, filthy animals and not bother another living soul.

Ya I noticed. They look about exactly the same. I think the sandstorms and the stealth are the same as far as size but just a little different with the design but the floor plans are almost identical. We love ours.

Does yours have the private front bedroom with the door? When I found my trailer on the lot, with that seperate bedroom, and the weight under my trucks limit, the salesman had a pretty easy job after that.

No mine has the curtain but considering it had a front bed was a huge selling point for me and especially the wife. And same here that I could tow it with my Titan. Does yours have a generator that was also a huge selling point but I also told our salesman it was a must have. So he had only one with a generator and it was exactly what we wanted we were pretty much sold.

It does have a generator, but its outside on the tongue and has to be plugged in and turned on from outside the trailer. It was a dealer installed option and I paid way too much for it. In fact, the last two times we boondocked, I didn't turn it on or even plug it in. The GF insists that we might need the microwave for popcorn so I have to bring it even though we get Jiffypop now. I could ditch the genny, lose the tongue weight and pickup some extra water storage in the bed of the truck...

Most of the intermountain states have a variety of scenery and climes. Therefore, one needs to plan trips with elevations that require neither heat nor A/C. That's why they have wheels on them. I use the "rim country" in the summer and the desert in the winter. Yes you get "caught" once in a while but it's seldom that I really need either appliance.
