Boondocking with a generator

I wanting to start boondocking at the lake. They have spots right by the water. They had electric for a lot of years. Had a lot of flooding and rebuilding electric box's. I'm looking at a inverter generator. Some 2000 watts and 3000 watts . I 'm looking to up grade my trailer in a few years . Right now I have a 5000 btu ac. Might upgrade to a 8000btu this summer. I also have a electric refrigerator. Looking a Honda and a champion and Briggs and Stratton. https://www.electricgeneratorsdirect...or/p13781.html Briggs & Stratton PowerSmart Series 2,200-Watt Gasoline Powered Recoil Start Portable Inverter with Engine 030651 at The Home Depot - Mobile https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00BBDCE1S...b8f7c8c981e_CT

I'd look for a remote start model. That way you can fire it up for a quick run and shut it down from inside the camper. We much prefer this to using an inverter for 5 or 10 minutes to make coffee or run the microwave.

Remote start that sound cool. Haven't even considered that option. That seems to be a Champion 3100 option.
