First boondock'n trip

Don't know if going to the state park with no facilities (other than fire rings) counts as boon docking, but that's what I'm doing this weekend.

Bringing the generator just in case, but I'm optimistic my 2 batteries will hold out for the weekend.

Any tips?

With a generator you will have no worries. LED lights are a big power saver and can be purchased relativley cheap on Ebay. The furnace is probably the biggest drain on the batteries but I'm thinking you won't need it right now!

When boondocking, we cut down on water usage by not washing dishes. We use paper plates and plastic tableware.

Remember to keep a careful eye on your battery's condition.
Recharging before the capacity drops below 50% will extend the life of the battery.
